Not a race driver, but for sure one of the best "friends" of a modder like me. I just bought a book from him last month for yet another mod.

I remember repairing many a car using a Haynes manual. I probably still have some laying around in the garage.

I have several of his manuals laying around still in different places around the basement, they've (and he's) been a constant companion for me and my father when we've worked on cars that he and/or I've owned over the years.

Certainly a very sad loss but hopefully he'll find many more things to get to the gritty small pieces of whereever he is now.
