| 1971 SCCA Trans-Am Championship Historic GT & TC modWe will use the the 1.96 version of the Historic GT&TC mod by the HistoriX mod team. => DOWNLOAD MOD 1.96 part 1 <= => DOWNLOAD MOD 1.96 part 2 <= => HGTTC 1.96 How-To-Install <= => HGTTC 1.96 Manuel <= Car SelectionThe field is divided in two displacement classes (over and under 2,500cc) featuring 10 different models of cars for a total of 44 available entries. TA-1 (+2,500cc) : Chevrolet Camaro ’70 (5 cars), Chevrolet Camaro '68 (2 cars), Ford Mustang ’69 (6 cars), Pontiac Firebird ’70 (4 cars), AMC Javelin (3 cars), Plymouth Barracuda ’70 (2 cars), Dodge Challenger '70 (2 cars) TA-2 (2,500cc) : ALFA-Romeo 2000 GTAm (9 cars), BMW 2002 Tii (7 cars), Ford Escort RS 1600 (4 cars) At each event, the two classes will run concurrently on track for one overall classification but each class will have its own points championship. Car selection is free. However, admins can refuse a car to a given driver if he is judged too fast for it or if his simracing level is unknown. Each driver must keep the same car for the duration of the championship. Changing of car will be tolerated under exceptional circumstances only. A driver missing two races in a row without any explanation on the forum, will have his car freed and made available for someone else to book. Championship RulesThe championship will be run over 11 meetings. Each meeting will feature a single race of 300 to 350 kilometres depending on events. Races will all be in the 2-hour bracket. Points SystemCanam-style points will be given to the first ten of each class : 20-15-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1. As for all American races, all starters will be classified and are eligible for championship points. There will be one drivers’ championship in each of the two classes. Only the best nine (9) results for each driver will be retained. There will be one manufacturers’ championship in each of the two classes. In both classes, only the result of the best classified car of each make will be retained for championship points at each race. Only the best nine (9) results for each make will be retained. Both manufacturers' championships will use the following points scale : 9-6-4-3-2-1Event ScheduleAll meetings will be held on Sunday nights (all times given as CET) 20:00 – Qualifying 20:50 – Warm-up and drivers’ briefing 21:00 – Race start Race server password : hso71Starts will be given standing on the grid, after one formation lap. Race Start Procedure--> Reconnaissance Laps <--Training ServerA training server running on the next scheduled track will be online permanently. Password : hso71Behaviour on trackA few behaviour rules : - as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you. - Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only. - Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race. - Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track. - Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane. Application and Interpretation of the RegulationsThe admins alone are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations.

| Due to some maintenance we have to do on the server, the training server for this series will not be up before a few days. It will definitely be up before week's end though . | |

| Yellow flag cautions on road courses is a rather recent thing, from the mid/late 1980s mostly (to make room for TV advertising more than anything else ) so no, no yellows in this series | |

It can indeed be confusing when you read it and is kinda hard to explain simply, but best thing is to try it offline and you'll see there is nothing complicated about it Just edit your this line in your .plr file to enable it : QUICK Reconnaissance="0" --> set to "1" to activate reconnaissance laps
