Currently there are no full time drives available, but we will be posting the Schaefer 500 thread tomorrow. This race will have several one-off drives available, similar to the situation at Indianapolis. You are welcome to book any one-off car that does not have a red number in front of it.

You can also ask to be put on the waiting list for a full time drive.

i've asked for a one off car in the other thread, so put me down for the waiting list too.

Friends, I owe you communicate to you that real life obligations prevent me from participating in the championship races (at least most of them).
I thought until late yesterday that it would be able to fix that, but it was impossible.
So I leave my car for any friend of the league who wants to get behind the wheel.
If at some future race I have Saturday off I will not hesitate to ask if there is any car available.

The #27 Vollstedt is now open to full timers who want to switch to another car.
If it is still vacant 24 hours from now, it goes to tier 1 of the waiting list.

on the off-chance that no tier 1 or 2 people want the vollstedt and you get to tier 3, i'd like to put my name down for it, if it comes to that.

I'm thinking about taking the #7, would I be allowed to take it if I wanted? Or should I stick to the Atlanta in terms of drivability?
Edit: I'd like to take it. Of course only if I'm allowed to, considering the 1000bhp rule

No disrespect intended, but your driving has not matured enough yet to handle the #7 McLaren. Part of the reason you did well in round 6 is because the Atlanta is a very even-handed car to drive. The McLaren, by contrast, has knife-edge handling that requires a certain level of maturity to manage lap after lap. While you have improved a great deal, you are not at the level required to competently drive the #7 McLaren. Sorry.

I would like to be considered for a full time ride in the 1973 USAC Championship. I have 2 one off starts and over 3500 miles of testing the King Fish-Offy at Indianapolis, Milwaukee, and Pocono. Please put me on the waiting list for the next available car. Thank you. Smile
