Ok, so I've just found out that there is a possibility I won't be able to make it to the race on Sunday.

I'll know for sure tomorrow. So if someone wants to practice with Hector's Lotus as an alternate feel free.

many, many laps in Hesketch and best time only 1:11.8, now i tryed for 7 laps the #25 Hector Rebaque and with same setup as on Hesketch i did easily 1:09.2 which is much more competitive time

Because the Rebaque team has a Lotus 78. Which is a much better car than the Hesketh.

with Lotus I get 1 07 80 after 20 laps. It´s car from another planet. In curves full throttle.... unbelievable affraid

Well...

As I thought I'll struggle a lot around here, best time so far is a 15.1 so...

I don't know if it's just me not being able to get the car to go around here but I've never been good around Kyalami mainly because I've not been able to understand how to drive the circuit.
And, to be fair, the M23 isn't the best around fast corners, I saw a lot of that at Sol corner in Brasil (in which corner, when I ran wide, the commentary team remarked at the loss of downforce I suffered when I got close to other cars and trust me, the M23 really don't like to lose what downforce it has :aie:

But I'll at least be able to finish so hoping that I'll find some pace tonight and tomorrow to have some chance of keeping up with a few others at least :drink:

Due to the chronic disconnects some have experienced at the start of past races, we are going to try something in today's race. If a car or cars drop from the grid at the start of the formation lap, we will restart the weekend, proceed to warmup, re-enter the grid formation manually and try the start again. So we won't eat up lots of time doing this, the traditional recon procedure will not be used.

Due to the time constraints of those in Europe who work the next day, we will only use this measure once, if at all.
Hopefully this will help those who have connection issues make the start.
