I thought the first post said faster drivers will not be allowed to drive the Ferrari 512M? lol Have you slowed down since the last time we raced? You did beta test this mod also

Yeah I dont mind changing to a Ferrari, I picked Lola because I thought I was considered as a fast driver

I haven't seen them racing(didn't take part in the Enduros), are they fast?

I think they can take the 512M without unbalancing the race (if we are talking about Mark and Imre)

Sorry there--I didn't see the rule either. So for the moment put me in the #45 908-2 (or the other one, failing that).

I might move either up into a GT-40 or down into the slower class too, but for now this will work I think.

BTW, yeah, I was an alpha and beta tester for these mods. But my most important contribution to CSGT was bringing the team the proper physics [via Paul Frere's book "The Racing Porsches"], and particularly to Bristow, our guru. He's a real-life mechanical engineer when he's not modding, and he made the most of it IMO.

He also spent quite a long time adjusting the "attitude" of the cars--the 917's and 512's in particular--so that they ran properly "trimmed" at top speed. Until he figured all that out they ran around nose-up, as if there was a large amount of air wedging itself under the nose (the mods date all the way back to F1C and showed up too over in GTR).
