| Hey guys, I'm writing you about something I've found on the net the other day. There's an rFactor team (american I guess) that has some days of the week, servers where they coach driving. Things like breaking, make a setup, weight transfer... and at the end of the lesson a sprint race. They use different cars per session. I could use some of that help from the experienced and faster guys around here... and maybe I won't be the only one What do you think about having some coaching days for us in HSO? Thanks in advance | |

I don't need any coaching for breaking things in rFactor, I'm an alien at that | |

| David you know you can edit your posts instead of posting new ones right ? I think its a great idea, but you need instructors, people who have time and speak your language ... | |

| I like some breaking too...... Not in Rfactor itself, but due to Rfactor....... Furniture is my specialty Just look at the 2nd picture, right side of the module.... I did some remodelling after that, so things don't look exactly like this anymore http://www.thewayiplay.com/mainforum/index.php?topic=1394.0 | |

| Hey mate, what's the problem? I did not mean to offend at all, I just found funny how you laughed yourself at Antoine's sceptical reaction. Actually I laughed at the same thing that you did, that is, to his reaction. Of course I am slow, and I am the first to joke about it here (Just read my previous post to see how I joked about me colliding so much); I think you simply misunderstood me, as forums are such a faceless communication way. If you have felt offended let me apologize for it, even if I stress that this was not the intention at all. | |

| OK guys, in the spirit of teaching what we know, I would like to tell you may secret on that 3rd place on the Taraga-Fiorio with an Escort: 1: I was not able to «read» the track well, so I've asked to use the hood camera. That gave me more «reading of the track» 2: I've used more steering sensibility because that was a rally, so I needed to be able to «dance» with the car. 3: I used a front wheel drive car, because there was no 4x4 and the other few cars available where not true rally cars. And on an Tarmac rally FF works pretty well. 4: I've used the hand brake!!! I had a neutral steer car, and I used the hand brake for the airpins. 5: Having a neutral car, I was able to hit the gas and brake at the same time even on fast corners. So I was able to enter faster into the corners then most heavy powerfull cars. 6: Its a rally, don't floor it when you don't feel confident... wait for the «flow». 7: Know how the car works. As this was a FF car, thats easy because I've always driven FF cars in real life. So it was a metter of pretending I was driving my Fiat!! And also prettend I could die on those cliffs. 8: Don't look at the other guys times, or you will lose concentration (in rally that means you're dead). Ok so this is how I've managed a podium with a 1.6 litre Escort. I hope I've started something here. And I would be really glad if these informations are useful for anyone. Cheers guys! | |
