You must purchase and install the upgrades, sometimes you see them on the car in the menu when clicking but if haven't installed them the car reverts to the wings it had.

I am getting a "mercedez engine mismatch"

In practicing, when stalled the engine would not restart, when I hit the start button. Later, while checking engine stats, I noticed at the bottom of the engine file, onboard starter = 0

Thinking that it likely not allowed during official session, I thought I'd set it to 1 so I wouldnt have to restart run during practice, but on suddenly getting this mismatch, I put it back to zero.

Yeah if you edit files, you get a mismatch, to avoid cheating.
And the cars didn't have onboard starters, safety trucks were pulling the cars with a rope to restart the engine.

So, so I have to reinstal the mod?

If you still have the mismatch and can't remember how to edit the file back how it was, yes you should reinstall the mod, or at least the files you edited.

I am affraid I have to leave grid for today race..my G25 is probably dead :-(

power LED is blinking on start and than it lights very dim...I replace the power adapter and it is still the same. I think that I will need to buy a new one or try to repair this one...I dont like the idea about buying the new one as I am not using logitech peddals...oh hell, why me? before first race, 3 weeks of searching for a solution with non working multiplayer...and before the second race..steering wheel goes to silicon heaven

I was looking forward this race as I love these street circuits...I am now trying to solve the problem...but it will need someone who can repair electronics...
