Round 2 - BARC Spring Trophy [January 29th]

Well I just tested with a different mod and indeed the track works perfectly. I have no idea why the HGT mod causes that trouble for me

well delete all you're HAT files first and delete the track and install it again
also delete youre CCH file in the Userdata folder and buy again a car
btw i m not able to find the server online. edit found it

Seems that this track has some issues:
1st time entering the track on the server.... game crashed, 2nd time my car doesn't load (wasn't on spectator), 3rd time I enter but my GID Hud is a bit screwed

Hotlaps aren't appearing on the respective page

Is it me or this track feels like butter?

Hotlaps are not working for me either   

Hotlaps should be working now

 

For some reason the track wont work properly with GID so here is a alternative to monitor engine life and fuel usage

And for the "butter" feeling, I think it is sound related, I don't hear the tyres so it feels like the car is just gliding around the track

I tried quickly the track, and it's working. But the track name has weird characters, maybe it's what's causing the problem with the hotlaps ?  
Check the gdb : TrackName 60Oulton there's a mistake, there's no = there.

Also, I was quite disappointed, the source of the track before modifications couldn't be worse. The track is the crappy super-wide-with-weird-elevations codemasters version we almost used for the BSCC in 2009. Oh well...

OK Edit that, Realised the problem, But im not telling you what it was as you will all laugh at me!      

The weather is looking a lot better in Houston/Sugar Land for tomorrow. Unless I catch a bad case of HSO Flu (which I will not) I am not likely to make it.

Dont know why i didnt think of it, Never made the mistake before. Oh and the hotlaps don't work for me either.

The hotlap works well but we can't do a link to it   

When you are on the hotlap page, click on the "Historic GT v1.95" button, and below the three first track you'll see two tracks with a weird name, that's Oulton

yeah i figger that also the replay only tells VCR in the list in youre rfactor instead of the trackname
for some reason i cannot find why it not telling the right name even after correcting the =

I hope JP can help me out on this , and sorry but this version is the best we could find to update in a 60s vintage style. i dont have the skills to create tracks like you or VLM , wish all tracks in rf were like that!   

I didn't notice any obvious mistake that could cause further problems  

About the track, I didn't say that the work done was crap or anything. I talked about the origin of the track, made supposedly by professionals at Codemasters. The surface is inaccurate (we could live with that), but awful too. For example, that turn 2 downhill is appalling...

hehe i know mate the origins are so crap. We spend most time for the 65 trackpack to debug , where ever possible , all horrible gpl stuff .... a shame only a handfull of good 60s tracks in rfactor today, so update them is the least what we can do to give all a decent ride and more immersion.
