Je ferais bien parti d'un champ sur ce mod si vous en créez un, mais j'imagine que si vu le travail de cette creation

Eh non, on en a fait ces 2 dernières années mais on a pas prévu d'en refaire l'an prochain, à priori

Faut voir, on a rien de prévu pour l'été et y'a un petit championnat australien qui rentre pile poil

Damn. If I weren't so focused on the F1-S-R 74 series I'd be in. Had so much fun with this mod earlier in the year.

Toujours partant pour des opens ou champs le samedi et le dimanche(surtout les monoplaces ), mis à part les courses d'endurances à changements de pilotes car je n'ai plus la condition physique .

Successful first couple of laps with this combo.

First time racing the cars and we get along fairly well. More time to be found as I doubt that kind of lap time'll be safe from the likes of Lorenzo.

Actually it might. I think you should switch to something a bit slower (4 * cars maximum).

Fast drivers tend to pick the fastest cars

I don't want to come across badly - but if Oscar can set a fast time in that car then that's his talent. In previous races the fastest drivers (Truffini and Arisi) have picked the fastest cars (Sierra). I don't see how this is different. We all know that race setup is different from quali setup anyway, so Oscar may not be as quick in race trim, and probably won't be. If the car is unjustly fast, then it should be removed from the event.

I just feel every driver should have equal choice and equal opportunity - this being an open choice event he should be able to choose whatever car he wants.

I'm sorry but that's just my view.

It's fine by me. I'll change to the TS8 if that is better for competition. But please don't get me wrong I would love to have a chance of winning for my first time at HSO. All I have done before now is drive slower cars against sierras and not been able to do much. Now I can But I am happy to do so in a slightly more challenging car (TS8).

If it makes you more comfortable, Lorenzo is in a 3* car

BTW, this is only an open event, not a championship

I think what Oscar is saying is that if the other fast drivers have chosen the slower cars, then that's their choice. It was Oscar's choice to pick the faster car (whether he knew it or not).

I mean - if there was a testing period to level out the field then fair enough, but it's a one off event

That's why I'm saying that no one is demanding anything, just recomending...

I mean, I would hate to do a whole race racing alone in the lead, but I would love to be in the pack fighting, even if it was for 10th place, it's so much more rewarding.

Results are not everything, I'm here for almost 5 years and just won my only championship before summer, with this mod

I agree, I agree. Again, I don't want to be rude. I was just calling out something I found a little... unfair. I think free choice in important, unless it's established that the field will be balanced before the race.

Nevermind. I'm not quick enough to cause any speed controversies myself, so I'll shut up!

I know Jon, I'm just trying to expose my feeling about racing here, that's why I don't mind taking a slower car, but of course Oscar is free to take whatever he wants.

Richard, to be fast you need to have a good setup and good momentum throughout the whole track, the times will come to you

Slowly improving my setup and times, These cars can a a bloody handful if they want to be though!
