Yes that's it The driver is famous Eddie Rickenbacker who invented the system for a dirt track race. At the time drivers raced with their mechanic on board the car and the device was made to protect them from the dust while still allowing them to communicate. However it proved very uncomfortable and Rickenbacker only used it the once

Yes taht is correct.

Sabine has 11years of daily Driving on her belt on the

Nordschleife.

She drove about 20laps so it was some 4 000laps per year plus the racing.

you would end up at about 120 000km in the green hell per year.

i think she has most km on the ring of any driver.
