Looks like one of these open wheelers with closed bodywork that raced in Interserie or Supercup in the early 90s ?

Well you know what ive been working on so thats a little clue

On the basis of a McLaren F1 GTR ?

Its older than that i thought it looked more like a Ferrari T3

I thought it would be more difficult.

it is a DBR4, rare incursion of Aston Martin in F1.

I think that's the first time I see a color picture of this car. Really nice.

IT Took me awhile but the little badge gave it away

here's a really easy one ...

The ill fated De Tomaso 505/38 with the late Piers Courage at the wheel at Kyalami early in 1970. Courage died in this very car at the Dutch GP in Zandvoort later in the year ...
