EVENT RULES

---

-No chatting during qualifying or during the races. Stay online after race 1 as will move directly to race 2 once the server creates the race 1 results.

- For this event, we will use the Free-for-All car attribution method, as per the HSO Sporting Code definitions.

- Every driver is free to book any of the available cars, attribution being made on a first-posted / first-served basis.

- Tentative Frank’s confirmation, points will be (3-2-1 for race finish.

Start will be given standing after a formation lap.

19:00 - Free Practice
20:00 - Qualifying session (60 minutes, unlimited number of laps)
21:00 - Drivers' Briefing
21:05 - Race Start (2x15 laps/2x20 mn)

can we switch to the chicane version of Most? That massive bump in the first corner is nearly impossible to drive.

C11 is impossible through that turn yes.
962c flies through no problem.

Dear HSO admins,

what should i say?

- i would love to chose Frentzens car, but that C11 impossible to drive through turn 1 (only if i drive it with 230kph, while the porsches crashing into my back with aroung 290kph)
- i would change to that amazing Mazda 787, its not much better through turn 1, but at least it's 20% possible to survive the race while being lapped by the Porsches
- i could chose another of that 962Cs to make the Porsche-Cup complete, but as in other championships i have no intention to do that, just to have a "good car"


Please test that for your own. I don't think i'm an setup-idiot after all that years, but that first corner ist just unrealistic to drive like that.
If it stays like that i sadly cannot participate.

I will look into it ASAP. Not going to be able to until the weekend. I need to turn some F1 laps too

I did a quick lap in the Schumi Merc and promptly begged for the change.

Don't focus about score, I only copied-pasted rules from previous event. When Frank will be back, he'll put the right points to drivers if needed. The only focus to have is to get fun and fair on track.

If you read my post you'll notice I didn't go from your copy-paste by the way

Per Ben we will defer to Frank but I think you are correct that it will be the small points 3-2-1 due to short race times. Should be fun!

Drivers,

After race 1 ends we will wait until the server resets then go directly to warmup then to the race. There will not be a long pause so hit the bathroom as soon as race 1 ends if needed.

Also, when race 1 ends and you see the checkered flag leave the track. Driving around to the pits will delay the saving of the results. Please do not do that.
