Formula Easter (rus. Формула-Восток) was a single-seater, open wheel, open cockpit circuit car racing series during the 1970-1980s, specifically created for drivers from the communist bloc, driving cars created solely from parts manufactured by the COMECON industry or created from scratch as a citizens' initiative by Eastern Bloc residents. Nominally, the series belonged to FIA Formula Category 9 and Technical Group 8, although FIA only acknowledged but did not officially sanction its existence. National racing championships in this class were in the Soviet Union, Czechoslovakia, GDR, Poland, Romania, Hungary, and Bulgaria. All these countries were United by the Kubok Druzhby (rus. Кубок Дружбы) (Friendship Cup) — a kind of Eastern European championship. Participation, and even more so, victory in the Friendship Cup of socialist countries was the pinnacle of the Eastern European drivers ' career. The Cup invariably brought together the best of the best drivers of the socialist countries. During the seventeen years that it was held in the framework of The "Formula East", it was won eight times by representatives of Czechoslovakia, five times by the GDR and three times by the USSR. Of the Soviet drivers, the Estonians Madis Live in 1975, Toomas Napa in 1987, and the Muscovite Viktor Kozankov in 1988 succeeded.

In this mod you can find the legendary Socialist racing cars:
1. Metalex MTX1-03 (Czechoslovak Socialist Republic);

are these models the same one as for Asseto corsa version? Is it from the same modding team? I did the metalex 3D models and let the guys use that as base for the mod...I am happy someone was able to use that.

rF1 and AC mods - from same modding team. That's correct. It seems that they first made a mod for rFactor 1, and then for AC. But I can be wrong.

This mod has just been stored for a long time, and I decided to share it.
