The Shadow is plenty fast but tricky, I don't see myself reaching the finish line very often in it

I'm going back to my original choice, the Lola doesn't like me.

One of the Porsches if possible.
If not, I will take whatever is available really.
The Porsches feel like a young Ali MacGraw, the one who became Mrs McQueen, on acid. Compared to them, all the rest feel like Dolly Parton with a terrible hang-over.

Austin, if you can’t commit to the full schedule, you should just pick up one-off drives during the season.

What I'm proposing is within the rules you guys have outlined.

1. I'm the only dude who's picked the Shadow as his primary car. Nobody seems to want to drive this thing anyways so it's not like 5-6 others are missing out. 2. I'm declaring my absence from a race almost eleven months in advance.

I’d rather give the Shadow to someone who can commit to a 10 race schedule. Given that it is a one of a kind car, installing a revolving door on the cockpit makes no sense in terms of getting to know the car and learning its eccentricities over a series of races.

Not hard to share setups. I did with the Porsche last season.

Go find someone to share a car with; someone reliable. Then I’ll think about allowing you as a full time driver.

Do you have a list of one-off cars for each race?

It won’t be working that way this time; one-offs will just be whatever full time cars happened to be vacant at a particular race.

Ah okay so it's gone from "these drivers only made sporadic appearances on the CART schedule so you can select from these cars when they actually raced to mimic underfunded teams" to "you can't race in our league because you didn't race in last year's league enough."
Gotcha.

Didn't give you an attitude.
I picked a car nobody else wants (so far) and you held me bowing out early last year against me.
I explained it was because of the abundance of cautions and even cited your own posts which introduced rules disabling full course yellows later that season because admins recognized it was wasting a lot of people's time. Not so much the North American guys, but the Euro guys as the events would go long into the night.
But now you've flipped around and said that if a driver didn't willingly put up with these races even though admins acknowledged people weren't having fun and might want to quit prematurely (some did), you'll have little to no chance at racing in this one.
You guys built a fantastic mod but that's really interesting.

You are assuming a lot Austin. The fact of the matter is that the mod was structured with no one-off cars. I am sorry that we did not plan this series around your specific needs. You have two options, you can either drive one offs or find someone to share with. This is the part where I get back to my family vacation and you make a decision about how you want to proceed.
