Considering the Alfa has a far more gentle power delivery than the Mercs and Auto Unions, it doesn't really surprise me. I couldn't get the Mercedes under 2.55. And judging where I am on the hotlap page right now, some other guys are also not yet in control of their cars Currently, my problem is not to get carried away and stretch the track limits to far...
...I'd like to see a neesreel type of race report of this one. Grainy, slightly upspeed black & white pictures, some swinging background music, a commentator with the right ta-dah! in his slightly distorted voice. Long steady cam shots and when trying to follow a car, the camera is always a bit behind or ahead

the alfa is rather nice to drive.
this tracks going to need memorising properly. for some reason i was thinking it was solitude, which i know pretty well
