I know I haven't even tracked this Modena, but I'll move to the Coloni, if possible. This Modena is a rolling chicane....a true hunk of scrap. Take it to the graveyard where it belongs!

Jason, are you really sure you want to do that? You are only allowed one full-time car switch in the season. Would be a shame to use that one switch to get into the Coloni.

Hehe...no, I'm not sure of anything at this point. I just know that this Modena is never going to see a race. There is no possible way I can qualify this thing, and if I did, it's so damned unpredictable that I'd never make full length with it.

...but yes, I opened my mouth, made the selection....bring on the pain Smile

I look forward to a challenge (reason I took the Modena in the first place).....but, there's a line.

....at least the Coloni will sound better while I'm out there sucking. The Modena reminds me of a dying vacuum cleaner.

Oh...? You guys weren't kidding, huh? You really do think that Lambo V12 [vacuum cleaner] sounds better than the V8s.........jeez. Perhaps we are hearing on different frequencies or something....I find the V12 "whine" rather annoying vs the growl of the V8.

Meh...I have been around a lot of heavy machinery most of my life, so I won't discount the possibility that this is a factor. lol!

Talk to Rossetti or Del Piccolo. They used to drive the Loti.

to promote , you guys know this mod is like a child to me , helping develop it
but with the sound guru of wolferi we lost a hughes magician in which make this mod so immersive

sounds he created are real records so what you hear is real
the lambo v12
ferrari v12
cosworth v8's ( HB)
honda v10
porsche v12 outside
judd v8 and v10 outside
ilmor v10 outside
Mclaren v12

the yamaha is a mix of v12s but should be higher pitched like the lambo
its very LOUD in reality
but non exhited back then

The cosworth HB sound is totally wrong. I know what recording he used, and there is a lot better available these days.

true mate but 8 years ago the sources where not that much as nowadays

and thats why i like you alot cause you sharing the same devotion and termination to go for maxium possible realism wich shows off in your oustanding work!

Only thing I liked when I was a Modena driver was the sound!
And watching replays because I think it's cool looking and a nice model. (although the the sidepod inlets are supposed to be angled forward from plan view) it's nicely done for how old the mod is, and how bad the car was.

In real life the Coloni did worse! Likely due to the drivers. Larini no slouch

I get it Jason, switching from the Ferrari to a Modena must've been painful. Switching from Modena to Minardi was fricking Awesome!! Too bad it hasn't effected my point total.

The #34 Modena is open to anyone.

If it is permissible, I would like to claim the #34 Modena and join you all for the rest of the Season.
