EVENT SCHEDULE

Wednesday April 20th (all times given are CET) :

20:20 - Qualifying
20:50 - Warmup
20:55 - Race 1 Start (18 laps)
21:35 - Race 2 Start (18 Laps)

Race Start Procedure

Behaviour on track

- as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.

- Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.

- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.

- Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track.

- Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane.

Application and Interpretation of the Regulations

The admins alone are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations.

Well... Back at Misano and the car was again very inconsistent... scratch

Race 1 I made a couple of misstakes (once when the car understeered all of a sudden and one when I had no speed, touched the gas and I immedietly did a 280 spin onto the front straight :doh:

Had a nice short battle with Matthias but otherwhise not much else to mention to that race :smil20:

Race 2 became a bit more interesting, had a decent start and was up to equal 1st going into T1. Sorry Peter if I ended up leaning on you, I didn't double check my mirror as I saw what I though was you in the in-car rear view mirror Embarassed

Managed to survive the deadly T2 and then got a nudge in the rear quarter, not sure if I was at fault or not but sorry and thank you for lifting off the throttle as to not spin me pale

After this I had a few laps where I could take my time to get the tires up to temperature as Matthias was kind enough to act as rear guard for me. Sadly Jose got by the group faster than I had hoped but it opened up for a nice battle Smile

Spent the last half of the race trying to keep Jose at bay which inevitably failed when he was able to pass me on the 3rd to last lap in the hairpin, I immedietly tried up the inside at the next turn but locked up and hit Jose so let him go ahead of me, sorry for this.

On the last lap I was again able to, somehow, get close enough to have a go at the same place so went for it, locked up all 4 this time and careered into Jose once again affraid

But as I also said in the server, I sort of had to give it a go :hihi:

Despite my negativity towards the car it was generally good in R2, had a moment under brakes where I locked up all 4 as soon as I touched the brake pedal but otherwhise it worked ok.

It was great, I was quite "satisfied", had a constant pace (reasonable for the Sierra), tried to be fast but comfortable at same time. IMO in the case of the Sierra it is almost impossible. When I get back and had a 95% pace it can be comfortable, but as soon as you need to push harder, it become uncertain.

Anyway, great races, 2nd race was ruined in the first laps, however I had a great start. I tried to get Matthias, I had almost the same pace, which did not get me closer to him.

BUt really enjoyed, this track is very cool ( i think I have already said this 2 races before).

Jonathan, I did not watched back that situation, which for me means I did not feel any unfair move there. Smile

That's touring car racing, at its best.
