the 2 last lap were just UGLY .... I never saw an attitud and behaviour  like this since 6 years in simracing Evil or Very Mad   blocking the leader / no let  him pass /  hit him / .....and plus  on the last lap in the first corner if I didn t  change line at the last moment , I have been cut  in twice part !! affraid not  neccesary to speak about the last corner of the race .... ( all this by twice drivers at 4 laps to me and for the 14th place  :urgence:  )

well done all finishers .

lol!

but there was nothing lol on
it was pure blind madness and now im calm i very regret what i did by pushing him out
i know jan as a good dicing driver but last night i dont know what he has eaten or drink
blocking weaving holding up front runners ignore blue flags and put everbody in high risk manouvres which put myself almost into a wall at a runoff
wonder why he not get the black flag.

The last laps were realy hell indeed , a heavy bend ferrari after the shunt with Mike i couldn't control it that well anymore under heavy braking  al big lockup took out Glen almost.

The positive side is i had a realy good time with the new Ferrari, it suits me indeed but seeing Jund doing better with the Renault ist more related to my setups, I dont invest time in it as i did years ago
and falling back in de mid of the race was by a regular pitstop, but i kept in pits for 90sec!!!
to only change tires  from soft to hard scratch scratch im sure  a top 10 was good for this race
a great start, some great fights till the mid race with Mike ...  pig

@ Jan shake hands and intend we both are fresh and ready to fight clean the next races if we meet :conduit:

Pit stops take a long time for 2 reasons, firstly, the never happened in 78 unless the tires were damaged, and secondly, to stop people exploiting the extra pace from the soft tires.

Your pit stop time was perfectly normal Smile

Hi Jason fully justified.
My actions completely wrong Embarassed
After the collision I had not noticed it missing left rear wheel.
Thinking it damaged the suspension and I wanted to have it repaired pit.

Not repeated, I'll be careful.

Bravo Greg,Richard,Jacob. :flag:

Suspensions and missing wheels are never repaired in the pits, when the car is uncontrolable hit ESC immediatly.

Well 7th place I'll take that. The Copersuca was more like a lorry than an f1 car here but I kept it clean, only brushed the walls a couple of times and was glad when it finished.

Well done to Greg, Richard and Jacob. (Great speed)

Question, I can beat my qualy time buy a second in the lotus with 1/1 wings. is this an rFactor thing or did it have this advantage in real life.

With 1/1 wings you still have the side pylon ground effects working. Add 8 to each wing and see what your times are.

Well.... It ended up being a better event than I thought it'd be...

Before the Warm-Up session, so during the Qualifying session, I was very worried as many was hitting 23's or faster which was a lot faster than anything I'd been able to perform in the testing and practicing leading up to the event.

My worry lessened slightly when the Warm-Up session started and I saw that my late Q session race pace lap would place me well within the top 15.

The Race started and I took it very easy and dropped back through the field almost to the back really not wanting to damage the car as I had to have a prestine car to be able to do anything worth writing home about.

Spent a few laps sneaking up the field until I came across Dana. While I had a couple of seconds a lap over her on lapspeed I had nothing to offer on the S/F straight, that V12 really flies... Round 4 - Long Beach (Feb 28th) - Page 5 3108518133
Did everything I could to get by when finally I was able to get enough of a gap coming out of the last hairpin to be close enough to mount a challange into T1 where I made my way by at the same time as Greg came up to lap us.

A small warning, if you wave like that at me again I may not let off the gas, I had no chance to let you by safely until that straight so I see no reason to do something like that.

Managed to pull a gap to Dana as soon as I made my way by and set off after the Lotus's of Mike and Didier (and one more who I can't remember who it was, sorry).

Caught up to them as they battled and, while I again had the speed in the 2nd and 3rd sectors I couldn't do much on the S/F straight although V-Max was fairly similar between the cars but both of the Lotus chassis made their way to that V-Max sooner than I did :aie:

Didier, after me being behind him for a few laps, pressumably felt that he was better of letting me go by than trying to keep me behind but sadly I was used to running in traffic so I took the line I would when in traffic and the car oversteer on me and I clipped the wall very lightly but the front wing was gone Sad

Flew, sort of, back to the pits and got the car fixed, decided to not take new tires as that would place me way too far behind to be able to make it, so just put in a few extra litres and off I went.

Managed to pass a couple of drivers, among them Dana again after a short but nice little battle.

In the end I finished 11th or 12th I think, which to be fair is a very nice result for the old M23 but I can't stop thinking about that very secure 9th or even 8th place that I could have had had the car not oversteered like it did when I didn't expect it.

But a new car, the M26 will be in my hands in the next round and don't expect any blistering finishes from me with that car, it handles really badly compared to the M23 but it do have a bit more power so hopefully it'll balance out but I'm, currently, sceptical...

Thanks to especially Dana for a nice battle and to everyone else I had battles with and see you all at Monaco Smile

Well, you see, I was making a setup for Jason and suddenly got the overpowering urge to go for a swim...

Please ignore the little pesky team owner who claims the only overpowering thing was the stench of my lack of throttle control.

I will point out our pit stall was amazingly clean. Anyone sitting behind the car did sign a waiver.

Watched the broadcast, nicely done gus! :top:

But if you want to find out what I can do with the "Teapot" at Hockenheim, you will have to re-schedule the race there Rolling Eyes

Also saw that foul. WOW, the Wolf was totally obliterated and in pieces! affraid Didn't think the car models could be taken apart like that.
