| le probleme Toine c'est que je serais rincé par les qualifs. Pas simple d'enchainer avec deux heures de courses derriere. En plus j'ai un souci avec le mod. Tout fonctionne comme si j'etais en accelere | |

| The practice session will start at the usual scheduled time. However, if no more than 7 cars show up for the race, we will consider a re-run of the event according to the drivers' will. | |

| Well. Got pole with a sweet 19.2, and led the first 40 laps or so. At first I was closely followed by Tiago and Manu, then Manu spun and Tiago lost ground, it was going pretty well until my front tyres started to get very very worn. Tiago then caught me up quickly, eventually overtaking me when one of my tyre blew I managed to keep the car from hitting the wall too hard and nursed it to the pits. Fortunately Martin was ready and immeditaly tookover. Tough luck though, after the disco the tyre wasn't replaced so Martin had to go one full lap round again before repairing My bad, I guess I wasn't right on my pit stall when disconnecting Anyway, Martin is now 3rd and trying to catch up the lead back, go for it my friend ! | |

| I was following you Antoine with Manu right behind me, after a few laps I lost the tail, and then I lost my 3rd gear Lucky me, I was using the H shifter so it wasn't so painfull, it would've been definetly worse if I was using the sequential. A few laps after losing the 3rd gear I started to get into the rythm, and adapted to the "new gear set", the fourth gear was not so bad, actually, I think I was quicker in fourth gear in some corners. I began to close in on Antoine, and in the aproach to Westfield bend, his Porsche just didn't turn, I tought he had miss the braking point, now I know it was a flat tyre ... I assumed the command of the race with a comfortable margin, and after the first pitstop I was in secound, but after 2 or 3 laps I was back in 1st, I think the Sauber Mercedes was pitting The 2nd stint turned to be more like a hotlapping contest... I had one crash at Druids, but the car soffered minor damage, no big deal. When I was going to finish my 2nd stint I had some difficult to stop in the right spot so that the pit crew started working on the car Gil assumed the command of the Aston Martin and he did a really good job, holding the pressure from the Sauber Mercedes, and crossing the checkered flag in first Once again, I had no problems with blue flaggers, good job people It's sad that this great organization that is putting their effort in this (and more) leagues, and the drivers just don't show up This is one of the best mods out there, and these events are the best Cya in Le Mans Antoine? | |

| Grats Tiago and Gil ! My right hand hurts too much to go into details right now ... but I'm really happy with my 2nd place ! Too bad indeed we were so few starters ... I hope Le Mans will revive the interest in this mod and championship ! | |

| Well, taking the chequered flag at the "home race" (well Aston Martin's home at least ) was good. It was my first time with the Porsche H-shifter, after hearing that my mate had blown 3rd gear (you punk!!! ). Fortunately, he had built a very commanding lead, therefore I only had to drive safely on those last 30 laps or so. I did bin it once, but the car withstood the "pain" I inflicted to it. The cars in this mod are great and I feel ashamed that I don't drive more often (I think I did like 20 training laps at Brands Hatch). As for the low attendance, as the administrator of a GP79 mod in Portugal I'm baffled by how so few people actually show up after the first races (let alone why they waste their time in games from "bin the sim" and not simulators). Then again, we live in some strange times, with governments bailing out bankrupted companies, while at the same time taxing more and more the tax payers | |

| A great run at Brands Hatch for everyone; too bad only a few drivers showed up. As for my race, I live up to my name again, A-last-er: always last. Congrats to the tandem of Gil Abobeleira - Tiago Moreira, race winners! And I apologize to Frank Verplanken for the incident very early in the race... I was nervously looking at the F2 screen and missed a shift, so I was slow on corner entry and compromised Frank's race. I think he might have challenged for the victory if that delay did not happen. Still, he was able to fight back and that was an excellent drive to 2nd place. Thanks all and thanks HSO. See you at Le Mans!!!

| Hello everybody. Yesterday, it was a great race. Of course, a few racers, but fighting very hard ! I am for sure very happy with my race. It is not common for me to fight for the podium. I have given everything I could during the 114 laps. Unfortunately for me, Franck has made a fantastic second part of race. When I have seen it was impossible for me to have more than 35" gap before piitng, I knew it should be very difficult for the second place. I was always 2nd after pitting, but with just 5" and some laps to go. I have made a small mistake with my cold tires, and franck was 2nd It doesn't matter. To be on the same lap as you was already a miracle. 3rd a lot more. I just race in HSO, because of "real life". So, I can prepare as good as possible every race. It doesn't mean I am quick. But I am always as quick as I can be, with a lot of confidence in the car. Yesterday it was the key. A other one was that in the training I could make only the disconnection on the 57. Yesterday, because of the fight, I needed one more pit at the end. I would like to apologize. At the start I have touch Tiago. I wanted to brake and I have pushed the clutch instead And Thank you Andre. No problem during lapping See you all at Le Mans ! | |
