| I am not a cheater. I had a high ping last night from having my computer and wheel setup in my garage. It wasnt intentional either | |

| Fair enough . But anyway we can't let you race with us with such high ping as it's much too dangerous for other drivers, and of course it also gives these absurd lap times. Any way you can race from somewhere else than your garage ? | |

| Oh yes, I wouldn't dream of racing out here. I only set my rig up out in the garage because of the woman. I will be running a hard line out to my garage over the next few days in my down time | |

It was either race in the garage or sleep in the couch, eh?

| Yep, still slept on the couch though. I guess running a hard line to the garage is "absurd" and "isn't wi-fi faster?"..... | |

| I always forget that a garage is survivable in Indianapolis this time of year. Trust me, in Texas this is not an option BUT would be a superb way to truly simulate driving a real car with a driver's suit on. | |

| It does feel pretty awesome to race out here. Well, you just gave me the greatest idea ever, which will probably result in another night on the couch when she stumbles into the garage and sees me in full fire suit and helmet... | |

I avoid wireless whenever possible. Source of countless problems, vulnerable to hacking etc. Get yourself one of those really cheap LAN plugs and use your electrical line as LAN

When Trevor, James Knowles and I were doing the Bathurst 1000, we were forced out of the race because Trevor's wifi couldn't handle a driver and a passenger in the car at once during a driver change. So take it from me, wifi is just not worth the hassle.

| Well i use wifi, didnt have any problems so far sometimes my net lags, but that is due to other people using it besides me, rather than the wifi's fault. But i do have an antena on my PC. | |

| Is it still ok to join here? I can make the upcoming meeting.
I would like to take an Alfa or a BMW if there are any free. I've looked at the posts and it looks like the #375 BMW is unallocated so if it's ok, I'll take that if there are no Alfa's available.

Done and will add you to the participant list in a moment for round 6. If you go by Jay please change your name here to match exactly the name you will race with. I am assuming Jay Cooper for now. Will change if needed.

Thanks Ray. Are you referring to the St Jovite race, or the entire TA71 series?

| My car is free, I lack time to practice and I'm finding myself out of the pace constantly. Not fun in two hour races. | |
