OK a few updates on the 2014 topic

Wednesday / Thursday

There are still a few days to vote, but most likely the results will not call for a switch to Thursday... Let's hope the 25 who did not vote for Thursday will be here racing every single Wednesday of 2014 .

Finances

Many thanks to those of our beloved members who were able to send us a few (and sometimes more ) pennies to help finance our 2014 season . With the payment date for our 2014 bills now just a few days away, it is however not too late for those who wish to give us a financial help

HSO Americas

Thinks have gotten underway nicely for our HSO-A branch, with a dozen of entries recorded so far for the Open event of Sunday. This without any intense advertising or lobbying so we have good hopes of gathering a decent field for 2014 on this side of the Atlantic as well. Mike has all the qualities to make a competent and reliable league admin so things are looking good

2014 Season

The post you were all waiting for, right ? Well the full programme for 2014 will be officially announced on Monday December 9th !

In the meantime here are a few more details about the 2014 content :

- one excellent full season of Formula 1 Grand Prix racing on Sunday nights, with a mod we have never used yet

- one awesome HGT yearly championship combining sprints and enduros, with 1970s cars, which will be our other Sunday feature

- another awesome HGT championship on the first semester, for 1960s cars, on our weekday race night (Wednesday most likely)

- another series for the first semester only will be a new 1976 Formula Atlantic series, also on Wednesdays

- our third projected yearly series will be with the great Group A Touring Cars of TCL, and will also run on Wednesdays

- HSO-Americas will have its own yearly series, a multi-mod weekly one which will closely follow the line of a 1970s SCCA season

Oooh goody goody! Like the sound of the season long HGT mod  

Guess my idea of one series on a Wednesday and the next on a Thursday is a no go then?

Cannot wait to see what next year brings.

P.S Frank, Did you get the cheque I sent so I could see next years schedule early?  

We're still haven't made our definitive minds on the Wednesday/Thursday issue ^^ Maybe we'll alternate both days yes

Sadly negotiations broke down when the terminology used only referred to participants as "he" and specific requirements for several "she's" (6' blondes with high centers of gravity) was denied. Gunfire was reported.

Just a heads up to tell you that following the results of the poll, we will keep our traditionnal Wednesday and Sunday nights as racing days for 2014
