@ Alessio Nope the Lancias were quick but had a habit of breaking down.  

Lancia only won three World or European Championship Group C races : 1983 Imola, 1984 Kyalami, 1985 Spa. But the Group 6 LC1 spiders could have been world champions in 1982...

When and where did the last official NASCAR race on a dirt track take place, and who won it?

NASCAR still runs hundreds of dirt track races each year, so you're gonna have to be more specific than that I think   

Austin Dillon, last year in a Trucks Series race at Eldora.

 

JP caught something I had in mind, as the truck series visited a dirt track for the first time in many years ... but yeah, the lack of specification meant "the top series" in NASCAR   

Damn it was too easy  They said during that broadcast that it was the first dirt race in 40 or so years, and that's all I can remember.

I think it was in 1970 at Grand National level, before bloody Winston came in and the series fell into the so-called "modern" era
