Don't have to thank me, I just searched for "speed kings".

I know the puhdys with the song "Alt wie ein Baum"(old as a tree), which is quite famous in Germany IIRC(SWR 3 Hitparade).

I need some advice. Practicing for Hockenheim and my car is ridiculously unstable at high speed -- especially between turn 1 and the first chicane. If it were you, what adjustments would you make to help keep the car under control at 180+ mph? I already have my steering sensitivity turned down to 10% btw. I try to hold the wheel as still as possible, but the slightest movement at high speed sends me into a zig-zagging chain of overcorrections. I don't want to cause a big crash and take someone else out in the process. :urgence: Any advice you experienced guys can offer would be welcome.

The unstability at high speed is a known issue in the physics, I have yet to turn a lap around Hockenheim, but I guess more rear wing should help.

Ok. What about increasing the setting on the rear swaybar?

Jason-what degrees of rotation do you use on your wheel, and what is your steering lock?

I've noticed our car 'anteatering' on the straight for Fuji...it's not a fun feeling...

If your rotation is too narrow it will be more sensitive to input...Same goes for steering lock...

I confirm my intent to race at this grand occasion. I will be present! Vrooooommm! :conduit:

I also noticed the unsable straight line handling... I've managed to dial out my straight line instability by increasing the toe-in on the rear (this is known in reality to increase straight line stability but increase tyre wear), I also stiffened my rear suspension too a bit. Not sure how this'll work for you but I'm a bit happier with it.

Please tell me if it works for you and if you improve it, maybe i can learn something new :banane:

caster to max, steering lock low.

I have 8 degree steering lock atm and might put it even lower.

10% steering sensitivity is not a good idea because it's just making your inputs laggy, put it to +90% and tweak something else instead.
