In the long term would like very much to the HSO was organized by the fan race!
You can for example on the Fuji version 1.23!
However, it is very appropriate and Le Mans 1979!

SportPrototypes LE v2.2
Mazda 787B 1.1
GroupC Revival Mod
GCLegends

Do not tell, whether in addition to the above mods, anything else on the subject Group Ñ...?

I also understand that for the use of models is desirable resolution, but I do not know to whom can I contact!

These machines have long occupy my thoughts...and now I have enough knowledge and skills that would work out the physical model of the based on the actual individual data of each car, but as is always the problem with high-quality models of cars...
For a couple of days I was a little worked and at all surprising that none of the major and literate .. so and not released at this time of high quality mod on this topic...
Reflection in the menu of course I remove))...

Assessment of the modification depends on qualitatively developed a
physical model, it is ïðèîðåòåòíûì direction. I am very glad that I
managed to find detailed information on the technical characteristics of
these machines. This will make it possible to approximate the behavior
of the car to their real prototypes.

There are still a number of pressing machines, but they reveal serious
graphics shortcomings. If I could fix it, don't know yet. Therefore,
interested, whether there are modifications, from where I can take a
quality model.
Asked, if possible resolution of the Creator of the mod.

I am ready to present the first machine for the test within one to two weeks. Although I distracts work on a modification of the VLN 2012, but this project is now to me is more of a priority. If you will be satisfied with the quality of the physical model, it may be you will give me your models for inclusion in the mod? In this you will be his co-author and co-owner.
Just like people, whose model I'm using now, if they decide to go with me to the link.

And I also want to note that the modification of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1991, I speak as about probabilities, and yet consider just a Group C.

By the way, you have more than worthy of the traffic sounds, than I can imagine listed me modification?

Our models are pretty much the same than what you're showing here, but we prefer making our own physics for our own championships. Smile

how long do you take for one car?

the brake values are mostly the same. (heat disspipation, dissipation by speed, etc).
i amde brakes that overheat in lemans after the long straight becuase of the speed, so the brake wear will be less when u break boefore the downhill and then again. but whatever.

once u figure it out its lot of a less work.
but i mostly like to make the tires, and i have no experience with that.

I do not intend to tie this mod to any of the championship and not who
does not suggest use it. Been doing this for my own pleasure and
interest, however, I want to do high-quality work. What would any
virtual racer going on these machines remembered me with gratitude. I
spoke to you just for a little help in finding at least another several
qualitative models who are not here. On the other hand, I must confess
that to me is insulting, that such an interesting racing series to this
day, is not qualitatively modified for the virtual racing. Especially
poorly implemented physical model. I don't want to wait when someone
finally will do everything as it should!

I find it hard to tell you now something specific. I just today started a
detailed study of the technical characteristics of these vehicles.
Their very complicated physical model will require a lot of thinking. If
you are interested in this, as I can only identify with the concept of
development of physical models, to inform you about all the possible
options. Perhaps something can be use of the already developed for such
vehicles. I apologize for the quality of the English language, but I
still hope you will understand my thoughts.

( i understand you Smile )

Maybe Guilliaume can also help in some of the details.
I already worked out all the ini figures and i understand how the mod, e.g. 1970 is done.
But somehow i find the heating of the cooler not so realistic. so i played around with the values (said taht in the 6 hours glen thread) so that the engine will reach a value that goes a tad over the specification. for example the water heats up more and more and when reached top speed it cools down 2C. in the mean time the oil gets overr critical. 1C +
that one C counts as engine failure time which is for example 7000 seconds.

so you can do this 700 laps if it takes 10 seconds.

if it is 2C you can do it only 3500secs.
at 3C ony 1750secs.

and so on.

i like more to know about suspension and tire grip. i dont like that u can drift all the mods so easily. the tire should lose grip more abrupt, the grip gain under pressure should be stronger and the grip loss at "underloaded" tire should maybe quite be linear. maybe that would make up a lot of it.

i dont know if suspension geometry is calculated. (change in camber, toe, ackermann ...)
after i know the values i would love to make the values i figured out for reality and then adapt it.

but what is pretty good was my engine model. it took 2 hours of testing to finally get it on the excact degree. an aim was to not have an infinite oil to water throughput, but limited by the delta heat, so that oil raises despite water stays at the same temp (and even cools at 320 kph). that was really hard but i made it :drink:

would love do get my hands on the physics!!!!!!!

I look forward to seeing the first car! The Group C cars are gorgeous.

I am downloading the files at the top of this topic to see the history of the mod.

Thanks for working on this!
