Juste quelques rappels avant la première séance de qualifs :

- N'utilisez JAMAIS le raccourci lorsque vous êtes dans un tour chronométré. Si le jeu vous compte quand même le tour (qui sera bien inférieur à un chrono normal) je n'aurai aucun moyen d'annuler ce temps pendant la séance et de retrouver votre vrai chrono. Aucun chrono ne sera donc retenu de votre séance.

- Le circuit a un bug concernant le chronometrage. Lorsque vous joignez le serveur et que quelqu'un a déjà fait un temps, vous verrez 8mn44s à la place de son véritable temps. Ne vous inquiétez pas, c'est bien le bon chrono qui est enregistré. Donc s'il vous plait ne passez pas les 2 heures à demander "Pourquoi je vois tout le monde en 8min44 ?".

Just some reminders before first qualifying session :

- Do NOT use the shortcut when you are in a timed lap. If the game don't see you cut the track (so you would have a laptime much lower than a normal laptime) I have no way to cancel this lap during the session and to get your true best lap. So no laptime would be recorded from your session.

- The track has a bug : when you join the server while somebody already made a laptime, you'll see 8min44s instead of his true laptime. Don't worry it's the correct laptime which is recorded for the session. So please dont keep asking "Why am I seeing only 8min44s ??" all session long

Un probleme avec le mod, il faudrait modifier le mod pour résoudre ça

It is fantastic that we are doing this. Well done to all the drivers who have learned the track and thank you all for entering.

I think this race is probably historically significant in the field of online racing because it is 1000k at the toughest track in some very difficult cars, making this one of the most challenging sim races ever. Because of this it will be quite an achievement to finish such a race for those that are able to.

When I see the starting grid, my adrenaline is rising up. Another 2 hours to wait before the start. How exciting!

Avant le départ, rappel de la procédure :

Le départ est un départ lancé.

La procédure de départ sera la même que celle utilisée pour les 200 miles de Buenos Aires déjà disputée cette année, à la différence que nous ne ferons pas un tour de chauffe entier mais que nous partirons de la longue ligne droite qui mène à l'arrivée.

Les pilotes seront placés sur la grille dans l'ordre de leurs meilleurs temps aux qualifications. Une fois en place, ne bougez pas avant qu'un admin signale le départ fictif de la course en tapant "GO" dans le chat. Les pilotes s'élanceront alors pour boucler la fin du tour du circuit à vitesse réduite et en conservant leurs positions.
Le leader devra imposer un rythme assez lent (pas plus de 150km/h). pour que toutes les voitures restent groupées. A la sortie du dernier virage, les pilotes devront se disposer les uns à coté des autres, comme sur la grille de départ.

Puis lorsque le leader sera très proche de la ligne de départ, un administrateur donnera le départ réel en tapant "GREEN FLAG" dans le chat.

Le premier virage étant extrêmement serré, soyez prudents, la course est longue !


A reminder of the starting procedure :

The race will feature a flying start.

The starting procedure will be the same as the one used in the 200 miles of Buenos Aires held earlier this year, the only difference will be that we will not do a full formation lap, the grid is located on the long straight line that leads to the finish line.

- drivers will be placed on the grid according to their qualifying times,
- once you are on the grid, dont move until an admin said "GO" in the game chat.
- then the drivers will start their cars to finish the lap at reduced speed (150 kph maxi) while maintaining their positions.
- the pole-sitter will have to make sure his pace allows the all pack to remain grouped,
- when entering the pit straight the pack will keep rolling at reduced speed in the starting grid formation,
- when the leading car will be in sight of the start/finish line, an admin will give the real start of the race by typing "GREEN FLAG" in the chat.

First turn is extremely tight so be careful, the race is long !

Il n'y aura pas de livetiming pour cette course. Cette course étant la premiere endurance chez HSO j'ai décidé de ne pas prendre de risque de surcharger le serveur avec un programme de live timming.

Donc pour suivre la course quand vous n'êtes pas au volant, le plus simple est de communiquer avec votre coéquipier par Teamspeak. S'il vous plait essayez de passer le moins de temps possible en spectateur, toujours pour éviter toute surcharge du serveur. Il serait bien qu'il n'y ait aucun spectateur pour le départ.

Enfin d'un point de vue pratique, si vous ne voulez pas être gené par la fumée des blocages de roues des autres voitures, pensez à désactiver les effets spéciaux dans les options graphiques.


There will be no live timing for this race. Being the first endurance race at HSO, I decided not taking any risk of a server overload by using a live timing programm.

So if you want to follow the race, the best thing to do is to speak with your teammate via Teamspeak. Please do not watch the race as spectator, still in order to avoid server overload.

If you don't want to be disturb by the smoke when others cars lock up a tire, disable special effects in your graphics settings.

I cant join as a spectator either.

Also why has the race started before 4pm? Everyone else seems to have no problem arriving on time so I have to assume the fault was mine, but I cant see how. The website time says 4pm now yet the race is many laps old.

I Cannot enter as a spectator whats going on ......
