No, no need to download the skinpack again, it was only a server issue.

About pitstop, it's quite simple.
Before doing a pitstop, you have to call your pitcrew using a key on your wheel or on your keyboard, as you like. A game message will pop up saying something like "pitstop requested", and when your pitcrew is ready another message will appear. If you didnt received this message before entering pitlane, then your pitstop will last longer. Fortunately, in the HGT mod, the delay is null, so your pitcrew is immediatly ready.

About the refueling, you can set it in the garage page or while driving in your pitmenu and adjust the amount of fuel with 2 keys (to decrease/increase). Same goes for tyres, by default they will be change during your stop, but you can avoid it by modifying it in your pitmenu. Same for damages, by default all damaged will be fixed, but you can choose to fix only the bodywork, or nothing, to gain time.

i have a feeling there could be some long pitstops on the horizon
and im sure my car will visit the barrier a few times in this race ......

I Have been practicing pitstops this definatly adds another element to the games realism
i cant use the pitlane speed limiter though .....

Know all i have to do is work out a strategy

Thoses cars dont have speed limiter, and there is no pitlane speed limit anyway

Je sais connecter sans problèmes mais alors dans le chat apparait un message "CSL_Schnitzer.HDV" mismatch et le petit casque blanc en bas à droit qu'on clique pour conduire devient rouge barré.

Any ideas?

Rien n'a changé du coté du serveur, donc tu as du modifier quelque chose. Peut être te manque t il le patch 1.01.

Merci pour la suggestion Guillaume. J'ai effectivement du changer des trucs de mon côté. Mon PC de jeux a un probleme de surchaufe et je l'ai rentrée en reparation vendredi, en plus ou moins préconisant de pouvoir le récupérer le jour même. Pas de chance, mon PC de jeux sera en réparation jusque début de semaine prochaine, au minimum.

Alors, pour pas rater la Schleiffe, j'ai, hier soir, installé rFactor et le mod, circuit etc sur mon portable et j'ai installé le portable sur mon béquet de course : connecté le moniteur du PC de jeux (12 inch de portable c'était quand-mêmes limite ), connecté le G25, connecté le shifter SST, etc.

Bon offline, cela tourne plus au moins bien. J'ai quand-mêmes serieusement du réduire la qualité graphique de l'ensemble pour que cela tourne, mais ca tourne, mêmes si pas dans des conditions idéales: DX-8, pas d'AA, filtre Trilinear de base, détails en medium etc. Je ne dirais pas que c'est un retour à Indy 500 mais bon, c'est vachement moins de ce à quoi nous sommes habitué de nos jours.

Alors, confrontation avec le probleme HDV-mismatch. J'ai aussi songé à la possibilité que j'aurais oublié le patch 1.01 dans ma course pour tous installer. Cette installation fut quand-mêmes plus laborieux qu'éstimé. Je conserve tous mes fichiers (mods, circuits, drivers pour le G25) en back-up mais gravé sur des disques Blue Ray et, vous le dévinez, il n'y a que mon ordi de jeux qui est muni d'un lecteur BR. Donc, fallait tous télécharger.

J'ai donc reinstaller le patch 1.01 du mod Historix pour être certain qu'il est bien la et puis j'ai encore réinstaller le skin-pack. Toujours le même probleme : le HDV-mismatch.

Seule différence entre l'installation sur mon portable et celle sur mon ordi de jeux à laquelle je peux penser et que l'install sur mon ordi de jeux est basé sur une installation rFactor Lite, tandis que celle sur mon portable est un full install de la version DVD de rFactor.

Bon, c'est peut-être aussi un signe que, en prenant en considération la qualité graphique inférieur sur le portable, il serait peut-être plus sage d'attendre Zeltweg et le retour d'un ordi de jeux prévu pour le courses online. Les quelques test offline indiquent que la maitrise de la voiture est inférieure comparé à celle sur le ordi de jeux, mêmes si ca ne devrait pas avoir d'impact...

Si vous avez encore des idées, l'install sur le portable est faite maintenant donc je peux essayer. Sinon, je crains que ca sera plus tot pour Zeltweg ... C'est la vie.

I've found it)

Had an accident today slipped of a customers roof and banged my knee up bad
Im really struggling to walk but i can just about press the brake pedal
but it hurts like hell only managed to put 2 laps in for qualifying
but managed to knock 2 seconds of my personal best so im quite pleased with that ....

Ma premiere deco m'a tellement enervé que je suis reparti faire un tour chrono...avec le plein. Du coup je loupe surement le sub 10. En plus mon meilleur temps en 10.02.4 ne sera meme pas pris en compte vu que ma sal... de connection a planté dans la longue ligne droite.
Ca me gave ces problemes de connection à répétition
