| Spec is nothing to do with disco usually. It's normally down to internet connection. Check your firewall, there are things you can edit in the PLR or multiplayer.ini, have a look around and see if you find anything. _________________ |

| The Procar server will be closed down for a few hours in favor of the BTCC championships 1st round.
The server will be started up again after the BTCC event. _________________ If you are scared entering a corner, you are pushing to hard, if you are bored entering a corner, you aren't pushing enough, if you hit it perfectly, it will be better than love |

| Did anyone else experience other cars disappearing and reappearing on the server tonight? Not exactly very comfortable with the slipstream fest it is.
May be on my side as I was on wifi tonight. Race nights, I'm always on cable.

Visible Vehicles = 30 FPS Limit = 120 I think it really is down to my wifi. Timo _________________ Visit Intersection Diaries: the tale of a young racing career.. And like us on Facebook. |

Timo, your ping seemed to be going up and down, and other cars looked fine to me, so i think you had some internet/wifi glitches going on. _________________ |

Yep, think you are right. Combination of wifi and kids hopping on and off Netflix . Should not be an issue on Sunday as on race nights I plug a cable straight from the router into the the PC. | The rules thread has been updated with two new ones, which we have been using already but were just mentioned in the briefings. - Quote :
- - Any car that is leaving a smoke trace will be called to the pits to fix it. Failure to comply or to fix it will mean disqualification from the race.
- Limping to the pits for repairs on a damaged car is permissible only exercising the utmost caution and ensuring no interference with the other cars that are still racing.
Now the occasional smoke puff at the very end of the straight due to entering a heavy slipstream is not a problem, but regular engine smoke trace is dangerous for everyone and, as in real life, will mean the need to go to the pits to reduce grille tape and stop it. _________________ "There are two kind of oval racers, those who have hit the wall and those who will hit it" - Mario Andretti |

I've heard that the smoke rule is also valid during qualifying; is that true? |
