Hey guys :hello: I was looking for some feedback on the Clubsport wheels. There is tons of reviews but I would like to hear first hand from users that race on different platform's all the reviews I've found just pertain to iracing.

Thanks guys. Have a great day.

Found this wheel. I haven't found any reviews but its really cheap for a direct drive wheel..

Timo

His issues were due to water damaging the power supply. All better now... (sound of wood knocking)
He talked me into getting one, v2.5base, pedals etc. and I love it!!!

Yea I've been thinking of going that route. It looks propper and from all the reviews its hard not to pull the trigger but for the price of all that I'm thinking I can buy a direct drive wheel.
I never liked the feel of the Clubsport pedals, I bought the V2s and sold them almost a week later and went back to the g27s with a load cell. The way my rig is setup the pedals hang instead of mounted on the ground.

The Fanetec wheels do look and seem to be a great piece of hardware. Its So hard to choose between them all

If you want to bridge some years until DD wheels are mature enough, I would rather go for a T300 because of the price/performance ratio. I have only heard good things about that wheel. Investing in a CS wheel probably means long term because of the money you will be putting into it, and you might be regretting it in two years when the DD wheels market finally explodes.

I have one of the first generation Thrustmaster T500 RS-wheels. I only use the wheel, not the pedals.

FF-wise, for me at least, the wheel is more than sufficient. For some sim/mod combo's it takes some time to get the FF dialed in, but once that done, I'm very satisfied with the quality for value of the wheel. FF is more than sufficient for me, the feel is quiet ok if in long races the rubberish rim is not very pleasant, there is a lot of buttons etc.

And, in time, there are kits to mount real life steering wheels onto it.

Never had problems with it in the about 8 years I have been using it. Except for the paddle shifters who are inaccurate in some sims (mainly rF and rF2) but there are aftermarket kits to improve those and solve the issue.
