Philippe tu pouvez rester sur le serveur même si n'êtes pas qualifié. 28 voitures peuvent démarrer la course et il y en a beaucoup moins aujourd'hui.

Seemed to have a lot more downforce than the rest. Got a mega run on Ray heading into Tarzan, but the car ahead of him moved lanes in the braking zone, and I had to swerve to avoid. Locked up, ended up in the crash fence.

Maybe could have kept on going, but not motivated enough to keep going after such a delay to the start. I know shit happens, but it sucks when it does.

Cars, especially at the start, disappeared and reappeared from time to time. After a bad start I got into a good battle with David Jacques. Unfortunately, after I had passed him, I lost control and he collided with me. Appologies for that. I kept going but my car was slightly damaged (didn't notice at first) but I ended up going into the wall and out of the race. Very disappointing, as Zandvoort is one of my favourite tracks.

Stupid think ruined my race. When i appeared on starting grid and was going through the first turn i losted the rear and had a spin. Then i found out that my rear tires was in 0% condition. Dont know why Automobilista gave me such a tires because in the setup i had a new tires set. I asked for restart because it was again any bug in Automobilista and it was not my mistake. Instead of i had to start from the pit. I know that we losted many times due to DQ issue but one more restart will not kill anybody. I hope in next races Automobilista are gonna to start work normally. :grrr:

Choke!

Ran wide in last corner half distance, dropped from 5th to 7th?
looped it exiting turn 1 at 2/3 distance. dropped to 11th
...drove rest of the race punching myself in face repeatedly
Also sry for the bump Pascal, didnt miss my marker, so not sure if you braked early that lap, but I was like "OH SH!t"

Fun Car and track combo! Car setup was easy to drive if not for the Brainfarts. (smelled like Keilbasa and Saurkraut)

Grats Team Surtees, and Petr!!!

Je n'avais pas le setup course au moment du départ, mais le setup par défaut... Je pensais pourtant avoir chargé mon setup avant la procédure... Ce n'était pas une bonne soirée, dommage.

A la prochaine, j'espère Wink

Too slow to battle anyone for the first part of the race, then caught David while I wasn't totally happy with all cars we lapped, then made a crappy move while I was in annoyed mode.

Sorry again David S, I was too aggressive there.

Because of that, I slowed down and waited, which was the least I could do imo. Still feeling like an idiot.

In the end, I had a battle, but this car annoys me at some tracks where it's basically no match to someone that knows what he's doing with a fast(er) car Razz

I'm not sure if I should retire from the series or not because I have no idea where my driving has come from this year.

I love to drive the cars in of themselves but I can't get any kind of pace out of them.
I did have pace at Montjuic in the race but I unfortunately didn't get to see if I actually had the pace for points.

I also compared my setup to Richard (thanks for letting me have a look) and the setups are almost exactly the same, the only difference, really, was in the gearbox area, the rest of the same settings so it's clearly my driving that is causing the issues.

And the main reason, this is mainly to not seem like a complete winer, is that the car clearly should be able to be at least in the midfield with a half decent driver in it but I can't extract any of the inherent pace that the car should have...

So, I'll probably give it a go for one more round but unless I find some pace, so that I get to battle, to hell with points honestly, but to not get to battle with anyone, I had 3 laps at the start of this race where I was behind Jason who were in a slower car and struggling, which was the only battle I had. For the other 60 or so laps I did I had no-one to fight with, that's really not fun, no matter how fun the cars are to drive.

So if anyone'd like to teach me how to drive the cars, again (David Jaques allready did so for Montjuic, by the looks of my pace I've either forgotten or not learnt properly how to drive the car) I'd be very greatful as I'd like to have a proper battle at least once this season....

Also, sorry to anyone who got held up by me today.

Well had some good battles early on! Managed to get to 6th place.....till lap 45 the engine just let go :smil20: but in the end this car is just no match for the rest of the field. pig pig

after promising Qualifying this time , i expoected little more points but NO, NO,

the repeted start make me nearly sick, and finaly the start, again same scenario, third gear didn engage no matter how i try, (fully depres throthle, fully pres clutch, ) then after approx 5 s finaly got it, it is weird that it is 3rd time at start of the race (maybe some buffer at engine of AMS is overflow and then the device is not working OK) lost so many positions (from 3rd to 9th) and was held then in train when my tyres was in best condition an have chance to keep a little with podium places (like at the end when was few laps behind 1st racer) , so as i try do the max, rear tyres gone quckly and rear became loose at some corners so later i hardly keep cars behind me, 3 points from 4 races isn too much at all , it is too low score for so muchh effor put in :smil20:

thinking more often the same this combo is so much less as i expected from a new sim
well as a rfactor plus only the orignal tracks seems to work nicely but modding and especialy controller settings are wander all over. bugs , lagging and all usual things we had in rf1 shouldnt be here these days
untill its properly tested.

rather go back to rf1 / Asetto in these cars and tracks, personaly I have no joy to race these in AMS
only torture to keep racing because the tracks i created
not even bother now mr Jundt or what ever pushed me out of the track first lap ,
cannot make a proper pace to compete where i shoud be and not even race others cause the controller is wandering en doesnt respond properly at instant movement, its like a boat my steering respons no mather what i tried

I sit this out till austria then i leave the car and AMS

Can any or even all of the 711 drivers share your set with me? I need to figure out of if I'm just not setting these up right or if it's me and I need to rethink my running this series anymore.

Jason, if you pm me your mail address, I will mail you my Zands-setup for the 711. Not that I think it's any good ... Very Happy

Or can I attach files to a PM?

Timo

To be fair, you understeered a lot and slowed while I had a good line and kept my speed :smil20:

Sorry, tried to keep it as far right as possible, but...

Nice race!!

Very scary start in the traffic jam. Some cars disappeared in front of me. Very clean race, no contact with any car, no spin or even an off track. I'm really glad finishing in 7th. First half of the race I was among other cars, Gerard, Ray, Janak and Steve. After that was just racing by myself and avoiding crashing car debris.

Still need to figure out another driving style for this cars. Looks like locking tires doesn't affect too much lap times telling by the replay. The fastest drivers were locking their tires for 70 laps and the tires still perform. A bit unrealistic, but it is what it is.

Thanks for let me drive this time, I will be waiting for another opportunity next race.

Yesterday i was surprised how many times i spent in the pit when the race started. I was waiting for the green but when the whole grid was in the middle of the track the red light was still there. Finally i started during the red light because it seems to me not normal. Is it normal than the driver who started from the pits waited so long?

Yeah, usually the pit exit opens a minute or so after the race starts, idk how long you waited before you went though
