| Has anyone ever tried making any of these F1 paper models? I've downloaded a 1971 Surtees, it looks very complicated.

| I have downloaded ALD C289 and Sauber C9 too http://www.papercraftsquare.com/ald-c289-paper-car-free-vehicle-paper-model-download.html http://www.papercraftsquare.com/1988-sauber-mercedes-c9-race-car-free-vehicle-paper-model-download.html and Tyrrel 022 F1 1994. But not printed already. I like this models and not simple to build it. I think. But for sure there are fantastic models. | |

Did you use normal A4 paper? they are from magazine so something like 180 - 200g /m2 when printed some of them than to 200g/m2 paper once testet gloss photopaper, (Williams FW24) was nice gloss (no need to spray by clear coat) , gluing well but must be carefouly not to print fingerprints a lot to surface, when i found where is model stored after moving i wil make photo

http://www.papercraftsquare.com/page/18?s=f1 the most F1 paper models of F1 in 1/24 scale are from Czech Republic the models in ABC magazine 20 years ago was simle in comparsion to this new age model, the old one was painted by hands , no computer so was easier, now they are made on computer so m,any very thin and small details, but then hard to cut , i thing that the models are nice and accurate now but lost something called charm (?) i bought many printed models some with laser cutted parts but no time and "engine" to glue them ATM most of them are from this author http://www.formel1.webzdarma.cz/index.php?page=7&CarNr=151#151

| I'm always surprised what highly detailed models some people do from more or less plain paper and I've got the highest respect for them. Great stuff! | |
