The hardest part is : get richer, have a bigger place in Paris, buy a new PC, convince GF :D

If she doesn't agree: Lose GF, don't need bigger place, more money for a new PC, problem solved. :D

You know the tale:

Once upon a time in a kingdom far away, there lived a beautiful young prince who asked a beautiful young princess to marry him. The princess thought about it and said NO.

And so the prince lived forever happy till the end of his days, messing around with friends all day and night long, getting drunk, putting the feet on the table, watching all soccer he wanted on TV, burping and farting without anybody complaining.

Darn it, wanted to adjust my choices to make the life of the admins a bit easier, but fell asleep and only really woke up now.

I'd have dropped Andretti from my picks otherwise, Ferrari's top tier. Could've added a March, a Hailwood Surtees(hero for saving Regazzoni) or Mazet's entry by Jo Siffert Automobiles instead.

But "Seppi's" BRM and Amon's Matra would've stayed either way. After I missed his Can-Am Porsche, I really want his BRM.

As for Amon... well, I could give him a win! Wink

Anyway, I'll probably give it a try either way.

quick question about the virtual mirrors... are they "blurry" for everyone else or do i have something set incorrectly? it seems to be a similar effect to the v mirrors in the gp37 mod in the last open event last season.

driving wise, anyone want to do an unofficial meet up on the server around the normal race time? get a little wheel to wheel action going. i know im a bit off from most, but saw some mentions of turbine love, maybe we could get an all turbine race going ;P

I am in trouble, i have G29 one day and i am lost ATM, which rotation angle is best suiting old openwheelers, In AC with Lotus 25 i am more than 1,5s behind my best time, in F1 71 hardly to finishing a lap

up to yesterday i was with old red momo and for me it was bit easier, but les acurate in controlling car on exits from corner

It will be tonight Raul. Tomorrow the server will go up for R1 for all those that get a car.

@Michal, a new wheel takes time to get used too, the best answer is play around with rotation until you find something that is comfortable for you. I'm using 400 degrees rotation and 24 degrees of steering lock.

michal, just wanted to answer to get a discussion going, but i dont have the exact answer.  at one point there was a special download for g29 wheels (dont have a g29 so didnt stay up to date with the specifics).  maybe someone here knows?  maybe it got rolled into the 1.5 update?

the point is, if your wheel is working correctly, the best way to use ams is to allow the "auto-rotation" setting.  it requires the "allow game to adjust settings" in profiler to work properly for logitech wheels.
i haven't changed rotation since ams, it does it for every car for me.

@raul i was gunning for both days ;P
@richard when do you expect it to go down/up, we can try for a turbine run before the switch

PS> michal, if you have to set it manually, in game i am at 540 degrees

Probably around the usual time (8PM CET) is when the race thread should go up, if i'm around, but if i'm busy around then, it could be anytime tomorrow after i release the entry list.

Yes let AMS control your wheel rotation. Make sure you have the box checked. In game forces should be set at 360hz with low ffb boost off. Makes the game feel much smoother and doesn't have over exaggerated effects.

Having wheel rotation unchecked just means you have to go out of the game to change the wheel rotation. Why not leave it checked then adjust it to your liking in game.??

Either use 180 or 360 pure no effects. Try turning your ffb down on your logitech profiler. mine is 100 overall strength 0 spring and 0 damper effect. In game ffb strength -25 ..... FFB low force boost 0.

For those struggling on catching slides and being smooth turn you ffb down like a lot FFB is terrible in any sim period all the effects are way over exaggerated. I have mine set so I feel curbs and have a slight tension on the wheel. And everyone using a logitech wheel should be using negative ffb strength in AMS or rfactor from my experiences if you use positive numbers it makes the FFB reverse.

Because i have found no need to change the wheel rotation,i use 360 on all :top: unless i am rallying :D
Plus AMS has a problem with latest logitech wheels, they have fixed it in the Beta version but that gives mismatches online with standard version
Logitech G29 / G920 users: Support for auto rotation is on a dedicated Beta Branch labeled LogitechG29. Further instructions as to how to switch to a beta branch,so i have to wait :top:

There are no settings like the G27 had, only rotation and sensitivity for the G29.
