Have you PM’d him? If he is in agreement, that sounds good.

If that fails, #41 Lola or any of the other Lola 160/163s

Thanks guys!

1. I'm the only dude who's picked the Shadow as his primary car. Nobody seems to want to drive this thing anyways so it's not like 5-6 others are missing out.

I picked the shadow, but mostly because it looks cool. #101 #lol
Also because I had AFX slot cars of it and the L&M Lola as a kid.
Whatever, I don't know what all the bickering is about? Entry list hasn't even been sorted yet. I'm expecting there are twice as many drivers as cars. Meaning the admins will be forced to base selection on something, perhaps past patterns.

No big deal. Cars will become available as season develops. But if one could guarantee presence at every event (I cannot) they would hopefully have the opportunity to have a ride.
OR, real life, fastest guys and paid drivers get the ride? In which case I forfeit my choice to Austin so far. Haha
I don't mind if I have to take one offs...
Just here to have intense and more so, FUN competition

Btw, awesome video Austin!!! Well done. I even show it to peeps that know nothing about driving, so they can appreciate there is more to it than pushing the pedal harder!

after actually trying out more cars i'd like to revert to my original pick of

#27 (the coolest paint, therefore my 1st choice lol)
#37
#39

i'd rather just use one of them. not as fast as the winged cars, but i like the feel more. and thats what i want for a long race.

:hello:

Won't have a chance to try the mod before the deadline but as a Can-am fan want to try this series-

-#49
-#7
-#3

Can I ask why some of the regular cars like the Porsche 908's, Ferrari 612 + 512 and the other Lola's, McLaren's didn't make the cut?

He looked back and where he'd taken off, it was way back, 150 yards or more. He looked at the car and he looked way back and he looked at the car and then he said "F@%k"...and that was the story of the Can-Am" -Sam Posey

Hi, looking forward to drive in HSO CanAm '71 series, if there is any seat available.
I'd prefer :

BRM P167 #38
Shadow Mk2 #101
Autocoast Ti22 #49

... but as a newcomer, I expect to be at admins will.

Best regards, Czarek.

Jan if you are going to concentrate in F1 and later drop out of CanAm, it's better you stick to one-offs. Smile

these cars are fantastic! to me the shadow and brm are the most "fun" to drive, obviously the brm a bit slower but it has great frontend grip! unfortunately i know my time might be limited, so will sit out for now, watching intently from the sidelines. my schedule in the winter is anyone's guess, so hopefully i'll have a bunch of free time and can snag a few one offs or even just run in practice's and help tune. these cars are fun!

hso, another great mod, everyone have a great season!

best,
dave

was it a crazy fast 2 speed car with huge magnets? had a lola and i think mclaren body on two cars as a kid that were blazing fast, at first they were "locked up" but eventually i got regular access to them, couldn't keep them on the track, but fun as heck!
