| Thanks to all the admins for what I am sure were some difficult decisions in assigning cars. I can't wait to take part in another HSO championship with another superb mod!
Cheers! | |

I have to say, this was the most difficult car allocation process to date. Soooo many people picked the same cars. At times it was like trying to solve an unsolvable Rubik’s cube. The lesson for everyone here is to take the time to scroll through the entry list thread, see what the demand is like, and then be as diverse as possible in your choices. It’s really that simple.

The lesson for everyone here is to take the time to scroll through the entry list thread, see what the demand is like, and then be as diverse as possible in your choices. It’s really that simple. I can't imagine how many M8Fs and T260s, as well as anything with a 494ci Chevy, showed up on the list. And I must admit I was one of the guilty parties going that route, but not for the reasons you would think. After testing almost all of the chassis/engine combinations this week, I came to the realization that I'd be happy driving any of these "Hammers of Thor" in any part of the field! Hence, I shot for the moon not really worried about what ride I could land and certainly not expecting to get one of my choices. BUT IT HAPPENED! I got my favorite car with my hero driver. And you can't have back my M8F until you pull my corpse out of it! But I will have died a very happy man. Now the pressure is on. Instead of being a blissfully ignorant also-ran, I have to live up to the car. What have I gotten myself into? Once again, another phenomenal mod generating awesome interest. My greatest appreciation and respect for all involved in putting this all together for us!

| Thanks to the Admins for letting me have a Porsche. The 917 PA is the most unruly of the two Porsches, I think because it seems to have a shorter wheelbase. The mod faithfully models that into the equation... So I will have my work cut out for me . Can't wait to get to it. Cheers, Timo | |

A tad more flexibility here would be helpful too Thank you - The Admins One of the Porsches if possible.
If not, I will take whatever is available really.
Hey Jason, The above post was trully meant. Difficult to give you guys more flexibility? Was meant like a preference and a "carte blanche" for the admins all in one. Cheers, Timo

| I'm just saying it was hard for us to believe that you could have your heart set on the Porsche, and yet be ok with any other car. Those two seemed diametrically opposed. | |

Ok, sorry for that. But rest assured. I would truly have driven any of the other cars with pleasure. Timo

| I feel honoured to be driving the car that Tony Adamowicz drove in several races, including a third place finish at Mid-Ohio. Especially the trophy mix-up with Jo Siffert, described by Tony here(David Sabre linked to it), caught my attention. A great guy, should've gotten more chances in his career. Him not getting to drive Andretti's '71 Ferrari at Watkins Glen sounds heart-breaking | |

I saw Tony drive an F5000 Eagle at Momt-Tremblant a few years back. Was so cool to see him in person in a car from that period.

We have dispensed with the old waiting list procedure. The new one is described in the rules.

In this case, since you have one start and were the first to ask for it, you automatically get the car.

Per the rules, you have to wait until the 24 hours is up. If someone with one start asks for the car, they get priority.
