Marcus :hello:

first of all , apolozise to everyone for the " move " in the tchat during the race  :chinois:

@ Pascal

It s not the first time that you block me or try to challenge me when I come for to lap you  .

What happened Sunday evening was totaly uncorrect attitud from you,   more specialy because this was made intentionaly .  Twisted Evil

indeed , after to have watch the incident on the replay ( race timer  : start 58 min.03 s / end : 59min 42 s ) I have decided to watch your personal movie and what I Have listen on , is just  a shame !!! affraid  Evil or Very Mad  Sad  Sad

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mF3ddlMae_c

timer incident :  START : 1 h 17 min 45 s /    END : 1 h 19 min 30 s

" Jesus fuck " when I lapped ...

but more more worst , just after " SORRY DAVID NOW YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN "

traduction pour les francais en gros " désolé David , j ai fait tout ce que j ai pu pour le bloquer , maintenant tu es seul "

This is just unacceptable because  ,  this show clearly that your attitud was intentional  and in total opposite of HSO SPIRIT !

I don t will speak a lot about your " yeah I move but your are not fast enough "  before in the lap ... what a joke ,  give me your car and I will show you "if I m not fast enough "...!!!!

after yes with the larousse and less wings than you( 28/30)  I was btw 15 and 20 KMH slower than your Mclaren car on the straight , what i can do against that ? NOTHING !!!

and think about , If" Im not fast enough" as you said for you let me pass when I come for to lap you with the larousse , imagine how your are so slow with your Mclaren .

last point , I hope sincerely  that david has no report in this incident ...

end of incident for me .

Anyway I want believe that you are an correct and kind man , so if i can I will give you an advice Pascal .
F1 1991  cars and races need a lot of concentration , so of my point of view you can t drive seriously and concentrate you as it s necessary  , and at the same time  made a movie about your face , your race and comment everything  ( it s just my point of view I repeat )
try to race without (movie , comments , followers )in your head , and for sure you will improve your driving skill , your level and you will enjoy it more .
YOu have to be at your maximum concentration by respect for other guys around you

you are a good commentator , F1 78 last year , BTCC this year  But does not do both at the same time ( just advice if i can )

sorry for my not perfect english

my race report later

see ya

Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.

Dixit le reglement. pas plus de 100 kmh study

My god, do you really think I held you up on purpose? Wow really. Really. Jesus. And I thought I had a bad sense of humor and sarcasm.

Also, you were not fast enough. You clearly saw that on the straight I was way faster and I was chasing someone else too so I didn't want to give up too much time. But you know what, screw it, I'm suspended for Imola anyways and that's really just ridiculous. I'm honestly SO close to quitting it all together.

Pascal your suspension is not just for holding Greg, please read it carefully. Greg has done a quite moderate and polite post here, giving you some advice when he could have been much angrier than that.

Quote :
do you really think I held you up on purpose?

Your comment initially indicates so, and if that is not the case it is YOUR responsability to apologize and make it clear to Greg.

Quote :
Also, you were not fast enough. You clearly saw that on the straight I was way faster and I was chasing someone else too so I didn't want to give up too much time

I understand your comment as a car comparison, it is obvious to anyone from here to the most distant star in the universe that Greg is a much faster driver than you, so I think this is just language barrier getting in the way.

Please discuss this with Greg per PM and clarify things. I don't think there is bad intention from you, but explaining it helps more than acting as offended. Right now, it is Greg who has the right to feel offended, even if you did not mean any harm.

I was alone in my own TS channel("Dallama") and had no contact to anybody.

Also:

Why would I stay right to leave the door open at the Senna-S and let you through on your first overtaking attempt if I was that hellbent on keeping second place? lol!

Whatever Pascal(I don't mean that in a bad way Pascal!) does is on his own responsability.

Actually, I felt a bit bad for him as he was stuck behind me on much fresher tyres and I wasn't catching these other lapped cars that quickly.

But yeah Greg, no more chatting please Smile

At an oval race, this could have led to people forgetting to turn and crashing into the wall :aie:

@Jason:

These graphics and the presentation(Track map, Top Ten Qualifiers) are awesome by the way, I like it!

I gave you explication on my previous post ( Larousse car  20 kmh less on the straight than your Mclaren car with more wings ) so  think about a little bit scratch  ,  it s sure I can t lap you on the straight and more specialy if  you stay on full  throttle like how you did .

if you wouldn t let me pass , you had to push away BEFORE RECEIVE A BLUE FLAG INSTRUCTION  ( and you can t say " i didn t know you were behind me and close the gap" ) because with your dashbord like " F1 2075 YEAR  " on your screem , you knew so good  I closed gap ( of course this want mean I was much faster than you )

anyway , the rules is VERY CLEAR , if you receive a blue flag instruction , you don't have THINK ABOUT , you move out of the way " and or " you let pass !!! that s all !!I will  repeat me  stop to think about  , blue flag is an INSTRUCTION !!  it s the same for everyone , me include !!

I asked pascal to not reply on the forum for a while to cool down and not respond with anger. hopefully that was a good idea, but i am the reason why there was no reply so please dont call out pascal for not answering.

we had a good chat, reviewed the replay from different angles and in the end, i believe came to a better understanding of racing at HSO. ultimately it will be up to pascal how to drive in the future, but i have high hopes that he can make the adjustments necessary to find his place. please give it a fair chance is all i ask.

----------

regarding the blue flag incident, cars should certainly yield and facilitate a pass where possible and safe, but i for one dont want to see cars jumping out of the way or slowing on the straights. i also realize other cars are having their own battles, and it might take a little patience.

greg, maybe i got this wrong and if i do disregard, but based on the text chat and the timing of the message, my interpretation is that you had some frustration already brewing by that point in the race. if any of that is frustration with the car, dont be. everyone can see you are performing magic with a car that has no business running as fast as you are driving it.

If Pascal wants clarification from the admin. We will happily explain our decision and offer advice,me just has to ask either myself or Jason for a chat.

The matter is closed in my opinion. If Pascal and Greg want to sort it out via PM, that is their choice.

I am not describing details in public what happened, or what we saw and the minor details of why he got the penalties. The forum is not the place to do so.

As David said, we had a chat yesterday and cleared things there, had some practice on defending and attacking for places, etc. you name it.

Greg, I apologize for having stayed in front of you for that amount of time, I realized that I could have given you more than enough space to pass me on Turn 1 and I really did not mean to "block" you. Regarding that, your "translation" into French has a part in it where it says "I've done everything I could to block you", which is not true at all. I'd like to ask you to remove that part of your translation as it is what you interpreted into it.

On the Janak move, I failed to realize how close he was at said time and I braked too much and probably also too late to avoid a collision.

That's all I have to say regarding the incidents and I'm looking forward to being allowed to drive again at Monaco.

PS: Sorry for still posting about this topic, Richard, I planned on doing this yesterday but personal circumstances led to me not being able to do so.

See you at Monte Carlo.

Regarding that, your "translation" into French has a part in it where it says "I've done everything I could to block you", which is not true at all. I'd like to ask you to remove that part of your translation as it is what you interpreted into it.

apologies accepted Pascal Wink end of story for me Smile

greg, maybe i got this wrong and if i do disregard, but based on the text chat and the timing of the message, my interpretation is that you had some frustration already brewing by that point in the race.  if any of that is frustration with the car, dont be.  everyone can see you are performing magic with a car that has no business running as fast as you are driving it.

Hi David Smile

you are totaly right , of course I was frustrated and I'm frustrated and I will be frustrated .

I don t have problem to finish 2 nd or 3th or more  .... I just want to have possiblity to fight for pole  and win ,  and I can t ,   so  how you can imagine this is so frustrating .

I m a competitor , I m a fighter , and every lap I give everything .

I work very hard to try to find the ultimate limits of my car and set up,  every race  , This requires enormous personal investment , for exemple ( around 17 hours preparation  for phoenix and around 13/14 hours for interlagos ) and at this end when you are 7 th on the grid with more 1 second slower than pole  and you finish 2 nd of the race at more than 33 second of the leader , yes this is so frustrating for me .
more specialy when as you told ,  the winner ( you ) have begin really his préparation only the saturday afternoon ...  me too I would love to can jump on the car and directly made good laptimes and just enjoy driving ,but unfortunately it s not possible

I watched  interlagos replay, and you know David, you won with 33 s ahead of me, but as I saw, you drove very cautiously, relax, brake early, without pressure ... and if You  would it , you could  finish with more 1 min ahead.

It was difficult for you ?  no / Have you been threatened ? no / Did you had challenger ? no

I don t  want people think that I'm pretentious , or I want play the " king " , sore loser or  whatever you want , no Im not like that and who really know me , know that .

I just love racing and battle , and yes of course I want to win , as I said before , I work very hard and  do everything for to be the fastest  and if i can t win, I  Just want to have  possibility to fight for pole and win , that s all   :yaa:

Greg Goissen:

i understand you

i still wait a years to be again on podium, no luck or ability now, the 2nd place on start is the best here after year after return to the PC simulation world and best 5th place at the race end. i spend many, many hours try to setup car for Qualify, no luck to finaly tune it for race, so i was teribly slow in 1st half of the race, at the end i finaly set the mixture to max , i opted for C on front and D on back the pit i didnot went well because didn hit pit request and let it switch automaticaly on pit entry and then changed the front tyres to C because stupid rf pit menu is not offering the same tyre combination as is stored in assigned setup, but i forgot that auto pit menu will cost me more time in pit (i was here 12s and other about 6 but i cant change the tyres compound on the rack in full pace )
