Let's hope F1 never find out about HSO...

That's actually a great move, as it will further destroy F1 reputation and combined with its current shitty management, make it sink so much as to go bankrupt soon. Then all the copyrights will be free as they pertain to a dead series Rolling Eyes Laughing

Alberto is right; they're killing themselfes with doing things like that...
Instead of trying to get Formula One back to the crowd sizes where it was long ago, no ooh no, let's just not allow footage on YouTube or as what's the article about, FORBID SIMRACING LIVERIES! That's just ridiculous! I really have no idea what F1's "management" tries to achieve with that, but whatever it is, they are failing badly at it..

Technically, we are doing the 1978 Grand Prix season for Formula 1 cars, it wasn't called the "Formula 1 World Championship" until 1981.  :frank:

Another nail in the F1 coffin. Although as Jacob says I do believe that they only have the rights from 1981 onwards.
This will be the final nail in the coffin for me, I'm not going to pay to watch them http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/123434/no-freetoair-f1-in-uk-from-2019

At least outwardly, it appears the bitter old men are fixated on the vehicles and liveries in their current championship, not ones from the past.
God, I hate modern F1 even more now.

F1 has been in steady decline since the mid 90s, it got out of hand in the era of Senna's death and while the V10 epoche had some episodes of interest, it was the swan's song.

Going pay-per-view on an already declining series will only speed up its end. They are crazy.

If I have to pay, I rather see the crapwagons, but even better are the old seasons of F1 and CART at Youtube.

Been watching the latter in substitution of the F1 crap for some years, and they are so much better I didnt even have the thought to go back. study

A ce propos, j'ai testé "Automobilista" qui utilise, justement ces termes exotiques, c'est tout simplement du rFactor1 optimisé, amélioré, j'ai beaucoup aimé !

Ça vaudrait le coup de se faire nos mod à nous

Those names remind me the names in grand prix 1 lol!

Reiza is not mod friendly, they said themselves that they are not in favour of mods in automobilista, and they hide all the physics files of those cars you see in game. But it sure shows what one can still do in rfactor1 in terms of graphics!

As for rfactor2, recent news show that the game is not going to be get much in terms of improvements:

rFacctor2 to say as it is
