| Jason, what are the rules for entering the pits ?
For exiting the pits it says. "exiting the pits must keep all four wheels under the white line until they exit turn two, then they can blend into race traffic."
Nothing about how to enter the pits.
Do we have to be below the white line before turn 3 ?

| I'd say no, just perhaps fade to the bottom of the track when you are pitting on the back straight, that way the car behind should get some warning.
But i will let Jason confirm

| Pit entry from the racing line seems very dangerous when you are on the gearbox of another car. If the car in front is running a low line to make you go the long way around to overtake or you are sitting in the slipstream to save fuel there is little time to react to the car in front slowing. | |

| I think fading to the inside on the backstretch is the best way to signal.
We will only require this if there is a car immediately behind you.

| Please note the revision to the pit entry/exit procedures: - Quote :
- Pit Entry and Exit Procedures
During the race, cars entering the pits under a green flag must fade left briefly on the backstretch to signal their intent to pit. This rule will only apply if a car or cars are running immediately behind the pitting car. Failure to follow this procedure could result in a post-race penalty.
During the race, cars exiting the pits must keep all four wheels under the white line until they exit turn two, then they can blend into race traffic. The video here shows an acceptable pit exit. Failure to follow this procedure could result in a post-race penalty.

| I thing this rule is not absolutely correct because if someone needs to slow down already on backstreach because on his back is another driver he will lost a lot of time during slower running through the 3 curve and after that to the pit. Someone ho will have no driver behind him have a advantage to wait with the slowing down to the main straight. If this rule have to be fair it must valid for all drivers without exception. | |

| You don't have to slow down, you just move to the left to indicate you're going to pit. | |

| Recall : The drivers interested by "interview" during the yellow flag period, say it, don't be shy. We planned some solo room.

Drivers during a yellow flag period? You mean drivers that are DNF'd because of crashes or something like before the race too?

No, I mean drivers still on track, running at low speed under yellow flag. Live from inside. But of course, the dnf drivers can share their feelings with commentators too.

If this were a track like the Nordschleife, it would obviously be impossible, but at 80 mph on a 2.0 mile oval, I think we can chat via TS without putting it in the fence.

| To be clear about TS room, you choose a room to be alone. Only the commentators can jump in your room during yellow period. During race, you are alone without sounds and commentators speech coming from TS.
