Fine tuning grille tape, wheel angles, tyre pressures and gear ratios can help you find quite a lot of time. Acceleration can be a bigger thing than outright top speed.

I feel your pain, Jason. I cannot setup a car to save my life...

Perhaps one of the fellas here will offer a set for the Harrier for you...

In the name of safety, I've uploaded setups for the Harrier and Sthemo for this race: http://historicsimracing.org/en/list_setup

The first one (top speed 253) is for the Harrier. The second one is for the Sthemo.

If you drive any other car and try these setups, don't blame me for wasting your time.

ok, tried your Setup Jacob, little bit slower than mine.

I get 263 KM7H and 2:18.9

With De Cadenet Loloa i easily get a 2:08 and 301 Km/h

Sorry, cannot see any sense in driving this race.

The only opponent would be Jason Fitch, but the Harrier-Mazda RX83C is even worse than my Sthemo....

The server may be unavailable. Several others reported it cut out on them. I will investigate this evening...

I just did a quick test with it. It just lacks power. Easy to drive, good brakes, but not enough power to compensate the drag. It's 30bhp down on the Zakspeed for example. I've uploaded a set for it in case anyone grabs it. Top speed 301, lap 2:06.

The weaving about when at high speeds is appealing! It's like driving on ice. Make sure you leave plenty of room when pulling alongside a car on Sunday.
