Hi all..

I just recently went to paddock page, and saw this presentation practice... so, here I am, after more than a year to present myself :D

Im from Croatian coastal city of Rijeka, near Slovenian and Italian border, maybe you'll know it better by the one and only racing track in former Yugoslavia, and today Croatia, the Grobnik racing track. Until a decade, we had Moto GP racings there, but now its only used for some smaller moto racing, practiceing, and side car racing... even, I must admit, Ive never been to any of those. But I can hear the engine sounds from my balcony.

So, I joined HSO by coincidance. Since Im a big GroupC fan, I started to be fascinated as a kid by their looks and speed, and my fother bought me some legendary GULF Porche toys (he is an racing fan too), and finaly, when I discovered rFactor, I was looking for GroupC mod, and found HSO GroupC, and joined. Prior to that, I played F1_99 Group C mod a lot, but offline, never with real racers Smile

Since HSO Group C championship was organised by some Argentina guys, it was in the middle of the night at my place, and I quit soon (I had a PC in bedroom, so my wife went crazy), and somehow I took a pause, until found that single Cart race in Portland. And after that Im sticking around.

I work as a kindergarden teacher, and at this moment I have 2-3 years old kids. They are quite confused when Im showing them C9s screaming on the Mulsane straight... ah, kids...

Im father of two teenagers, and they are looking at me as a wierdo too  :banane: , but they tolerate it Smile They are not interested in racing, at this moment (even better, becose it would become crowdy around the PC  :hum: ).

Virtual racing is not a first love of myne, my first love is playing in noise-rock bands, and music overall, it is something I couldnt live without! Im a big USA 80-90ties alternative scene fan, evrerything from  and arround Husked Du, Big Black/Rapeman/Shellac, Minutemen, Fugazi, Mission of Burma, Mudhoney, Sonic Youth, Butthole Surfers, Jesus Lizard, Mule, Polvo, Chavez, Dazzling Killman, Don Cabalero, US Maple, Suicide, Morphine, Oxbow... etc (so more stuff to discuss enybody??).. Im also a great Neil Young fan, he is the god of noise rock!

I played in two very succsesfull Croatian noise-rock bands, [mandelbrot set] and Very Expensive Porno Movie, so be free to check them if you like, even, those bands are not active at this moment.. Another project is cooking, so if you like, I can inform you when something comes up!

I moved few months ago to a new house, and when I finish everything my wife thinks it should be finished, I plan an DIY project of building myself an racing cockpit... at the moment Im driving by my office desk/wheel chair, so Ill use all of yours sugestions, but it'll wait a bit more.. :rigol:

And this is about it.

Should I say Im an Star Wars follower from when I was 4?

Im glad to be here with you.

Hello Raul! :hello:
Many thanks that you told about yourself! Very interesting and nice to learn more about the active members of our wonderful site. I hope you plan to be with HSO for a very long time and share with us many exciting events!
From myself I wish you strong health and good luck in your current affairs!
And don't worry about the delay! :D I for almost four years don't even dare to tell you(HSO) a bit about myself. :langue:
I just get confused under the wheels during races and torturing everyone with his terrible English! :aie:

Good one...
but you see, while Croatia entered EU, we were allready exhausted with battling administration every single time we went to play outside our country. It was a combination of exiting east Berlin and entering USA from Iraq :hihi:
