EVENT SCHEDULE

Wednesday September 16th (all times given are CET) :

20:00 - Free Practice
20:45 - Qualifying (5 laps)
21:00 - Warmup
21:05 - Race Start (40 Laps)

Race Start Procedure

Behaviour on track

- as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.

- Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.

- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.

- Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track.

- Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane.

Application and Interpretation of the Regulations

The admins alone are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations.

It turns out they used the full circuit that year,

But unfortunately, this layout does not exist in rFactor as far as i am aware.

Sadly that is correct as far as I'm aware, just like Calder Thunderdome which they used once, there is a track on rF but, at least for me, it doesn't work Crying or Very sad

Still a sprint race though Razz

We had a longer race at Winton, we can have a shorter one at Sandown to compensate :jp:

Ok I've added a poll regarding the laps.

Sorry to butt in, but wouldn't we do the historically accurate number of laps?

The version they used in 85 (25 lap race) doesn't exist in rFactor, and I know JP would love to make it for us to race on but I won't let him :jp:

So hence the poll, Extend the distance, or do the correct number of laps, but on the wrong version :smil20:

I voted 1 but what I really suggest it to do the historically correct total distance, no matter how many laps that is.

Well you should have voted 2, as that is closer to what the historical distance was. The real race was 48 minutes.

There's a Mustang or Holden with your name on it :hihi:

The only way driving a Holden would be fun for me would be in opposite direction of the rest of the field

but OK you can sign me in with a Mustang since nobody wants them for whatever races I can take part in.

There is an issue with the FTP at the moment, it should be back online soon

It seems that continues to not work the download, and with the little time I have to train... :doh:
