Never heard of that one, nice find Jonathan :top: Skoden=Skoda+BMC :hum: Question . I've seen uglier racing cars I must say... like 99% of those built in the 21st century for instance :D !
From what I've been able to find, after a little bit of research, it's very likely to be a Skoda shell with Holden components and, possibly, some BMC components as well considering the BMC on the numberplate but that is speculation, not fact. scratch

But it is a magnificent find indeed :top:

EDIT:

After more research, the Skoden is a Australia Special, as in it was built for Australia specifically similarly to that of the Elfin's, using a new Fibreglass Body and used components from an allready existing car.

So the Skoden is one of those, probably running BMC and/or Holden components underneath, built for Sports Car racing in the late 50's by Keith Malcolm (I think).

But indeed, it is a very rare, but splendid, find :top:

Sadly the car was written off, by the looks of things, at Oran Park in 1966 after contact with a Buckle Coupe Crying or Very sad

For more splendid-looking cars though Smile

This is 100% applicable. You think the streets of Monaco are tight? Drive this bad boy at high speed in NYC streets surrounded by arabic/indian/pakistani cab drivers. Oh for sure F1 level skill there!

Bugatti FTW !!!

Coming from someone like me who has never smoked it's quite ironic that I like those ones lol Laughing
