| Hello Jerry and welcome in our league First of all, I edited your profile so that now only your real full name is visible. To enter the series, you have to follow these steps : 1) Read the rules carrefully, and feel free to ask any question you have if a point remains unclear: http://historicsimracing.123.st/1989-world-sportscar-championship-f14/world-sportscar-championship-1989-series-rules-t63.htm 2) Then, download the carset and book a car in this topic : http://historicsimracing.123.st/1989-world-sportscar-championship-f14/available-cars-voitures-disponibles-t34.htm Choose the car according to your skills, I.E if you're an alien don't take a Sauber, but if you think you're not fast enough to have fun in a slow car, don't take a Toyota It's all up to you Remember that the races are quite long (2h30+), so you can race with a team mate (who has to be registered to the forum as well), or alone. Racing alone is a realistic option though, as most of the field do it That's it, looking forward to racing with you at Jarama ! | |

What a twisty track. Almost a nightmare. No chance for the pilots unprepared. So adapted for racing with prototypes as Monaco.
I have tried it one hour today. Best lap in 1'24" 4. Finally not so bad for my level. Now, I know that the best will do 1'18"-1'19" At least I have a good basis to work on improvments. I don't know yet if I could improve. I have some ideas , but not very sure. Just to give an idea, with the Magny cours setup (wings 48 ) , it is exactly as "Holiday on ice". It gives a idea about the grip of the track Currently, i go in the direction of : Springs at min, Wings at max, ballast all way back to help a little to make the car rotate. Short 3 first gears.
I will more focus my training on how to stay on the track as anything else.
As could be heard in "Lion King" : BE PREPARED !!!!

| I did my first laps today with the 'fast' setup. Quite happy with my 1mn21s9 in a dozen laps. Such a kewl track with the Mazda . | |

| I might not be very well off in the early stages, but remember it's a long long race, and I'll be there after 144 laps to get my points :raclure: | |

| I am in 1'23"2 But with full tank. I am not trying to do the best time. Just to stay on the track at a regular pace. For me it will be 1'24". If I doesn't have fps or traffic problems. The mercedes is not so good for this track with a lot of turns. And we will have to pit at least 3 times because of the gasoline. It will be very difficult today. I stay pretty sure that the best will race at a 1'19", maybe 1'20", on the mazda. Just wait at the back and see what happen. Good race everybody | |

For my part I've 50 laps to beat. After any thing will be bonus for. I don't dream a checkered flac as I've already blown off three engines

| My setup is a long way off where it needs to be, but I have hated this track ever since the first time I saw it so I'll just piddle around at my own pace and let the positions fall as they will | |
