We have a discussion about futur of the IMSA championship.
A decision will be taken this night.
My personnal point of view is the cancelation of this championship, and release dates for some shorters open races or to have some times with our loves.  :frank:

The astute observer will note that the IMSA server now has the 1970s Daytona Motor Speedway Road course loaded with the 1974 SCCA car set as the choice. Although I do not have the time to run a full open this Sunday I am in talks with the other admins about one on the 11th. Go to the old HSO-A SCCA area for an idea of how it might look.

Password is hso74 .

If I get my way, on Sunday the 4th we'll run a quicky race that does not count towards your stats. No pesky Sedan Bs allowed! Manly V8s barges only! Capris shot on site.

Cool  Cool

Doing the common IMSA/SCCA races with 4 classes on the track as opens would also be a dream :top:

That would be too many cars me thinks...and a 4x Tylenol and two pint scoring matter for me or the admins!

I like too the races with multi-classes. But for that, we need a lot of drivers, otherwise it does ridiculous field, and limit fight between drivers.
The announcement of a race for sunday seems to me too short.

"Real" race is probably May 11th. May 4th is just a quicky.

Try this: ftp://91.121.135.76/rFactor/circuits/Daytona%201970.rar
