Before the first race topic of the season is published with the download link for Green Valley, a training server will be up permanently on the 1974 SCCA Winter Test Track : the Sebring International Raceway. SCCA cars will use the Panoz layout of the classic Florida circuit.

You can use this server to test the cars before booking, compare your lap times with those of other drivers, exchange setup, ...etc.

Server settings

Practice : 120 minutes
Qualifying : 60 minutes
Warm-up : 5 minutes
Race : 5 laps

Little change regarding the track, same layout but different version (to avoid conflict with the IMSA one in the hotlap page).

You will need to DL it again!  Smile

Good time for me on Sunday nights. Count me in for the entire series give or a take a week for travel.

Excellent. And man you smoked up the track nicely in that Capri.

I'm willing to do commit to this championship.

And if anyone needs a partner for those enduro races, I would help  :papy:

I'm always at 290° on rFactor, never use any plugins Realfeel or LeoFFB, always strongest FFB settings in car upgrades Wink

Per my PM....YES

I am hoping some of the IMSA guys will also want to double up on cars here. I am doing so with Alberto Ibanez in my Escort. Will also do the same with my T/A here.

I use the Realfeel plugin and setting for this mod. Love it.

Austin the degrees really will not matter much. Just set your wheel travel in controls settings to your liking. I have left mine at stock. Will likely change it for the super speedways as any wheel movement on the highbanks has to be minimized.

Yea thats usually how i do it, but i remember when installing the mod, it says in the pdf, go to userdata, click your_name and go to controller and set it to 900 , and steering speed ratio to 0.0000, just making shure before i mess things up lol.

Thanx, yea i was on the wheel that time. Is there like a setup guide i think i can go a little faster. Does everyone pit or can we make it all the way? I did like a 30 min run, whats the normal lap time fall off? Sorry for all the questions

There is a guide in the Paddock area someplace but I did a search on the net for rFactor setup guide and found several good ones.

You will not need to pit. Times improve throughout the race for me for the 30 min race. For one hour races times peak at about 50 min then tire wear and fuel burn negate each other and it seems to stay the same. I have no played with tire pressures much to control wear better so that may change. You should pretty much be able to run your qual setup in the 30 min race. Watch for engine temp though. At the super speedways it is a big issue. I overheat after 5 laps at Daytona RC unless I run a higher 4th gear. That works out though because in the draft that higher 4th gear is murderous.

Wondered why my track wouldn't load and 1st, I had downloaded the virtua_lm Sebring for the IMSA, didn't realise this race was using a completely different download

Can I ask why we're using this version and not the virtua lm version of this layout?

Because we wanted to use the shorter Sebring layouts, and a different one for each of the two series, and the VLM version doesn't have them Wink

It does....Well my download has 3 Versions, The one for IMSA testing, The full version and the same as the SCCA version.
This is virtua lm version of the shorter layout.

Ah yes right it does have them. Well we had a good reason for not taking the VLM one. Can't remember what it was though  :D !
