Sorry Jason... wish you a very good race !

Sort of an up and down race for me. Had a total brain fart at turn 1 on lap 1, downshifted to 3rd and nearly lost it. Made it back up to 15th after a while and had a spirited scrap with several drivers.  Eventually was running 10th, but I could sense that my engine was not well. What is more, I was having a real difficulty timing my shifts (something I need to work on for sure). With 10 laps to go, my worst fears were confirmed and the engine said goodnight.  Still, a very tough, fun race throughout. I had a bit of a Villeneuve-Arnoux moment with Carl Embarassed  (sorry)  and Simon nearly made me do a mischief in my pants when he went sweeping across my front at turn 1! pale  But overall, I kept my nose clean.  On to the next round, and hopefully top ten in points at the end of the series... (that's my goal) Wink Thank you again HSO!

I knew that it would be a difficult race because I couldn't get the car to settle properly on the track, at least not the way I wanted it to settle.

Sorry to everyone/anyone who got caught up with me in Qually, I was still working on the setup to try and get it better. Embarassed affraid pale scratch study pale

The race start was hectic and sorry to anyone who got scared by me but I hope and don't think there were any contact during the opening laps. pale

Sorry for hitting you when you got sideways Gérard, didn't have time to react and change direction Crying or Very sad

The contact itself cost me the front of my car and suspension damage which made the car handle like a pig everywhere :jp: Evil or Very Mad

I went out when I ended up on the grass just a snitch under braking for the 3rd gear right hander over a crest and I tried my best but couldn't keep it out of the wall and lost my front left wheel Sad

Sorry everyone for the trouble there but I really wanted to try and get the car back to the pits to get it fixed and therefore ended up covering the road but I hope that me standing still was better than moving around and being unpredictable Embarassed pale

Unfortunately my crew wasn't able to fix the hefty damage and I simply decided to retire than going around the track and being a hazard to everyone else with a small chance of getting the car fixed if I pitted again Sad

I hope that everyone is having a great race and congratz to everyone taking part Smile

Also, thank you very much to everyone I had a battle with, especially Gérard and Jason :drink: :aie:

I understood my mistake during the race: i picked up #36 at the time, but failed... to buy it. So another one was selected and as i am no familiar at all with the mod, i only focused at the yelow color. This is why i thought i had the correct one only until Jason pointed it out just after qualify session.
I managed to qualify it not that badly with hard tyres and 38 laps fuel, though: my way to say again i'm sorry Jason

Tres bonne soirée Very Happy

I had a pretty good qualy session, and found myself in 7th on the grid. And I got away with a ok start, really nervous about T1 crashes. Smile
I got past Frank at the first lap I think for the 6th position.
After a few laps I lost grip and spun my car, and found myself in 13th.. I chased down Joacim and Gerard Ryon for 11th P, I overtook Joacim and as I tried to slipstream Gerard at the back straight, I missed the braking zone, and the car spun (I'm glad I didn't hit Gerard as it could've made his race as short as mine) Sad

Got back into the pits and the car was too damaged too carry on. So I hope for a better result next time (and hopefully my first points in the league) Rolling Eyes

Thanks HSO and all for racing, was a great track, I loved it!

I knew you were quicker so I decided, when you ended up behind me, to not make it too hard for you to pass as I was having trouble with keeping the car in check pale

Would have preffered you to wait for the following corner and not go up the inside at T1/2 but a really nice pass Chris  Very Happy

I was sad to see you go off as I was looking forward to racing you and hopefully see you get a good finish. I'm sure it'll go better in the next race :drink: Smile

Oops sorry bout that mate Embarassed

Yes I thought about that T1/2 overtake just as we rolled down the hill (I'll never do that again!) was a bit of a hairy situation there, I think that was my Senna overtake of my simracing career lol. Glad I didn't nudge you as it's hard to see with 1 screen. Yes see you on track mate! :conduit:

No Problem Jason i knew you was quicker than me
and it was only a matter of time before you got past
but the overtake was a bit scary lol!

It was good fun to join this train of drivers for awhile until i made a stupid mistake
also love this track ...

Had some really nice laps with Jason and Patrick but had real problems trying to get past
Patrick as his car seemed to be warping all over the place the only way i could get past was to wait for one of the quicker cars to come through the field and cheekily get in there slipstream and sneak past Patick ...But it was all good fun :hihi:

Congrats Gui Awesome laptime :champ: and also good job Vincent
Congrats all Finishers :drink:

I had problems with the game, everytime i entered the pits, the game crashed, so I made the time for the race and I waited for the race to begin. I hit the wall in the turn of the bridge and I dont know how, but i repaired it, the problem was that the car wasnt the same anymore.
The Mod is great and im happy with it as i like the tracks too.

Thank you very much for everything.
