Round 2 - Keimola [Oct. 6]

9:00pm : Warmup
9:15pm : Race start (35 laps)

Race Start

Race will feature a rolling start.
Once everybody is on the grid and green lights have been shown, drivers will start a formation lap at low speed. Do not overtake, stay packed, no more than 2 or 3 car lengths between each car.
After the last turn, cars will keep rolling at reduced speed in the starting grid formation, so remember your side of the grid.
When the leading car will be in sight of the start/finish line, an admin will give the real start of the race by typing "GREEN FLAG" in the chat.

Overtake before crossing the start/finish line is not allowed.
Zigzaging to warm up your tires is not allowed.

Before the green flag, drivers should maintain a staggered formation, and not stay along side each others.







Départ de la course

La course démarra par un départ lancé.
Une fois les voitures sur la grille, lorsque les feux vert s'allumeront, les pilotes s'élanceront pour une tour de formation à vitesse réduite. Restez groupés, pas plus de 2 ou 3 longueurs de voiture entre chaque voiture.
A la sortie du dernier virage, les pilotes se remettront en formation (mêmes positions que sur la grille de départ), et un admin donnera le départ en tapant les mots "GREEN FLAG" dans le chat.

Dépasser avant la ligne de départ est interdit.
Zigzaguer pour faire chauffer ses pneus est interdit.

Avant le départ les pilotes devront se décaler les uns par rapport aux autres comme sur cette image, et non pas se tenir côte à côte.

Check your folders, Mike. Mine didn't 'drop' in the right spot....

Maybe a re-download and install helps...

Hoping to make it but may only get back in time for race as going to Donington Park for the British GT Finale, Hope to get back as I need to beat Mr Verplanken!

I already did reload it, deleted and downloaded and loaded again. Will play with Active X settings to see if that helps.

Edit: When I look at the area where my data is stored for setups the data goes to a file called Keimola, not HSO-Keimola. These setups are from offline racing. Perhaps the track file is called "Keimola" that the server is looking for? Going to rename and try that now.

Edit 2: Above failed, deleted all files for HSO-Keimola including the data files where setups were sitting. Reinstalled, same crash. When I check the folders where saved setups would be the folder is called HSO-Keimola, not HSO-Keimola. I am sure that will point to the cause but do not know how to pinpoint it. Will disect the Keimola files...no luck...need more experienced help.

Try to increase or decrease the track detail in the graphics menu, sometimes the track requieres files to be loaded or not loaded to work

Looks like a silly question but, has enyone besides me and Mike tried to enter the server? Or, sure the one on the server is the same of the download link?

Because I see no lap time recently posted there... Last ones are from 2012

Maybe you guys already had one installed and the one from the download link has a different .gdb file...

Gui or Frank - what file location is the server looking for? Based on the "Keimola" folder that is being created every time I try to log into the server I suspect it is looking for "Keimola" track not "HSO-Keimola".

 

Just tried to enter the sever, and indeed GDB mismatch  

mismatch aussi et un ciel zébré post apocalyptique.  

Yeyyy...I only suck at driving, not just rFactor configuration

I just reinstalled the track on the server, can you try now please ?

Je viens de dl le circuit, et je suis aussi éjecté du serveur, problème gdb.
Pas de soucis offline.
