My first HSO championship point and my highest HSO finish to date! :D

Start of the race was smooth, but it became clear that Ben and later Leo were lapping faster than me. With Mike experiencing difficulties, I figured I had a sufficient cushion to finish 6th and capture a point, so I tried to stockpile engine life and save the tires. Unfortunately, the later part of the race was more hairy. Had to pit after a silly mistake while dicing with Leo (lost the front wing), then David ran into the back of me at the hairpin, causing me to lose my front wing again. As a result, I had to drive the rest of the way with a pushing front end (pitting again would have put Mike in striking distance, so I gambled and stayed out). This likely played a part in an incident near the end with Frank and Ben (sorry guys Embarassed ). At turn 1, I got a blue flag to let Frank by; Ben wasn't far behind. I guess the abnormal rate of closure led to an accordion effect, causing a chain reaction pile up.

Anyway, I agree with what Mike said in the chat. 10 cars is a surprisingly small field; unless there is a European holiday somewhere I don't know about. :hihi:

The thought of having to race for 68 laps turned me off so hard...
Summer is not made for gaming xD.

Qualy and first laps were proof I am about on par with Guillaume.

Hit the wall on lap 7 @ the hairpin after thinking about quitting since the start....

..the steering was literally gone after the hairpin...so I just quit (shouldn t ve even started tbh).

Speaking of the championship table... a couple of points finishes are missing from round 3. Was there a penalty of some kind assessed? Question

I think it was Mike(Actually, no, it was Jason) who I hit in the back when he tried to let me through. Sadly locked my brakes and ran into him Embarassed I also beached my car for some seconds in the gravel trap at the hairpin Embarassed

And due to losing my front wing, I held up Leo who could have finished 3rd if it wasn't for me being in his way Embarassed x2

Don't really deserve 2nd with this performance, but Vadim crashed after less than 10 laps and Frank suddenly went very slow so I grabbed 2nd.

I guess Gui's gonna take this one, too Razz

Sorry if I damaged you on lap 6 Jorge. I was in the middle of a tank slapper as you passed by. Very sorry. Embarassed

i was no match for you guys on this race.

Mike i tried to stay ahead of you but you were faster than me so i end up going on the outside on that turn giving you space to pass me. But stuff happens, you broke my front wing, i was going to try and fix the car but i end up going to wide (no front traction) and lost it... stopped in a sand trap and blew my engine.

But those things happen on online races, thats why they are so exciting ;P.
No worries Becnel, you were faster than me, i should let you pass on the straight.

I do not remember you tapping me. I let you pass on the long straights when you caught me.

I lost my wing twice letting people pass me at the sweeping right before the 1st staight. Pushed right into the wall both times :aie: Really stupid of me, should have just let them pass on the straight.

I was in the pits so much I did not finish enough laps to be classified. Arrrgggh. I let Gui by on his last lap so I went down 8 laps. Oh the shame.

Indeed for some mysterious reason Yves seems to have disappeared from the tables Suspect . I can't fix it now, but I'll try and look into it tonight, if Super Gui has not fixed it before then ^^

You'll need to marinate us for at least 4 to 6 hours. Served best over a bed of rice, with Linda Carter wearing her Wonder Woman costume on said bed (circa the late 70s...Hell no today).

Promised is a deal. Not need to marinate 4 to 6 hours, only 1 hour is enough to marinate Texas meat. :D

Only 10 braves drivers, it was pity for this great mod.
A regular race for me with a nice overtaking on Jason. With the differents accidents, I take the 4th position still 62th laps. Jason and Frank have a clash just in front of me. I can't avoid them. I touch the Franky's car, I lost my front wing, the right tire is out, and the steering is wrecked. I have to repair. 64 seconds in the stand, it was too much. Leo was just behind me but with only 20 seconds. I have to give up my 4th position. It's a pity.
Grats Gui for the win, and grats all for your participation.:frank:

Nice first race with you guys! Good to get used to these cars in the long distance. A real chalenge.

I couldn't get as much track time as I wanted before the race and in the first laps I made a few mistakes that left me in last place.

Was good to race Jason and David as I got a feel for the limits of the car.

Looking forward for next race. See you.
