What's the ideal brake temps for these cars?

Yeah nice times Richard, I'm surprised you're going so well with these cars, I thought you were more a touring car/GT kind of guy Smile

Thanks, I've surprised even myself, Think it down to practicing a lot, I normally just turn up on the night especially with the BTCC and do practice during qualifying. Just a quick question, Do the brakes fail easily on this mod like the F1 1991 mod if you over heat them? I'm just wondering what brake cooling to run, At minute I'm on 2.

5x players were on the practice server at one point yesterday at about 5PM my time. That is very rare. There is usually nobody on. Great to see that. Bodes well for HSO health.

Got my times into the 1 09s (yeyyyy) and can at least safely drive the car now. Now the machining of my time begins.

More importantly: How thick are your brake disks? Everything under 2 cm is dangerous if you don't run high duct(in 1991).

Btw: Absent because of Le Mans, but I doubt I'll run into Martin "Larrousse-Leader" Audran there Razz

Don't worry, the brakes are not the same as F1 91.

But 2 seems ok, at least I'm using the same. I'm still not sure for the race atm, will have to test them in a bigger stint

I did a ten lap run with 2 cooling brakes, And they got to 500 degrees At the big braking zones.

Then I would suggest 3 for the race, but I I really can't remember the exact optimum values for the brakes

I am starting to see this is going to be a "character building" exercise with emphasis on rearview mirror watching.
