Thank you HSO for the race and BIG thank you for the cars being lapped. Excellent predictability and courtesy. Thank you. :chinois:

Grats to Yves. Never saw you after lap 1 turn 4 Smile

4th and 3 points! Finally!! :champ:

Great race for me. Very clean. I did not put any damage on the car which is a first for me. Early in the race Franck gave me a scare as I was passing him before the faster chicane. I mowed the grass a little. After I pit I think I was catching all three leaders. Were you guys planning to pit? I was hoping you would not and I would be really hauling the mail the last 15 laps to try to catch you on bad tires.

Greg were you slow at the end? I seemed to be catching up so I pushed hard in case your brakes were dead and you might have a few offs.

Again, thx HSO and now to the open race where I get to listen to a Mercedes V8 symphony.

affraid

Fast lap!!!! My first!! Awesome! Happened when I noticed 3rd was slowing and I dropped the hammer.

Wow, only 8 finishers. Brakes I bet (and those pesky walls). I destroyed my brakes 4 or 5 times practicing and setting up for the race.

Just as you crashed, my car got loose and I spun around.

I generally spun(thanks to those fecking weird slip angles) and cut several times, I was too scared to crash off, so pretty much lost confidence in the car.

After Martin, Guillaume and Ruben retired, I had no intention of killing myself anyway. I just wanted to bring the points home for Minardi so took it rather easy.

At least I managed to stay on the lead lap without having to pit.

But Yves finally passed me in the standings with a great win.

As this was a last minute thing and i have not raced in this Series this year , i did not realize there was no formation lap
i made the Start and could not work out why everyone was driving past me :hihi:

In all the confusion i followed some cars which did not seem to slow down by the time i had got to the 2nd chicane i think
3 people where already out of the race in the confusion i just clipped the solid wall in the 2nd chicane and i lost my front wing :grrr:

As i still thought this was a formation lap i was not sure if i could pit so i did another lap and was very surprised when the field just kept on driving ... So at the end of the 2nd lap i pitted for a new wing ...

It was a shame that i was already almost a lap down by the time i came out of the pits .. Really enjoyed my short time in the
Tyrrell had a nice stable setup and i spent many laps trying to catch Jason and then when i did catch him he spun ...
After many people retired I Was stuck in 8th place about 1:34 seconds behind Patrick with probably 20 laps to go i managed to get the gap back down to 56 seconds .....

I Think if i had not pitted for a new wing i would have probably finished 7th ... Tried to get out the way of all you faster guys
but messed it up a little with Tiago .... I Think maybe if i had a little more practice on a race set i could have challenged Tiago for 6th ...

All the same for a 1st time out in the Tyrrell i really enjoyed the race and i could have carried on for hours
so i'm more than happy with 8th place ...

Nice win Yves well done all finishers :drink:

My replays do not seem to have as high quality detail as yours and Tiago's. Is there a setting for this somewhere?

merci Carl, Patrick et Mike ! :drink:

At 20.30 I was almost regretting having left the series, but at 22.00 I was absolutely destroyed after all day/weekend out with the kids and went to bed. Pity there was no livestream, I would have watched a bit but next time maybe Round 9 - Grosser Preis von Deutschland [June 2nd] - Page 5 832418

Sorry guys I ran out of time to practice, and I didn't think it would be fair to turn up without any practice and potentially be a danger.

Good day Marc. It is good to see you survived the crash. Let me introduce myself, my name is Richard D Buzzard of the law firm Buzzard, Buzzard, Shark and Buzzard. You can call me Dick. I represent the families and estates of the 45 dead and 62 injured fans that you killed on lap 11 when you went for a jaunt through the crowd. Would you just make this easy and sign over your bank account, left nut and your first 3 born children? That will be much less painful that what we have planned for you. :D

The replay video has gone viral. We claim all revenue rights of course (us...the lawyers, screw our plaintiffs, that is awesome ambulance chaser wet dream lawyer porn).

What a crash!!! Just watched the replay.

Gui demonstrated that front wings are totally overrated. I thought I was seeing things and maybe there was a computer error not showing his front wing. He passed me and then Franck and gave Greg Hell also. Alas, a turn 1 suicide was the unfortunate end.
