| Hi fellows ! We are looking for a few simracing-journo-wannabes to write some race reports of the current races. The texts will be published on the HSO site. Our aim is to have regular race reports of our championships, which is a rather time-consuming task we do not have the time to endeavour in. We will however take care of all the editing and integration on the site, so the eventual scribes among you just need to send us their texts. Those with an inclination for it can also provide screenshots. You can also sumbit screenshots without text if you want. We might also accept articles other than strict race reports, such as interviews, portraits, articles about simracing in general or about real historic racing, etc. Evidently, every article needs to be written in proper English, and as much as possible in an objective and intelligent way . Ultimately, HSO admins alone will decide whether an article is published or not. Otherwise our editing will be limited to typos, spelling errors and form - not to content. There is no limitation in length so to speak, although a thousand (1,000) words should be the aim for a basic race report. Regular writers who can commit for a full season are preferable, but there is no limitation about one's commitment : you can cover all the races of one given championship, or several races of different championships, or you can submit just a few articles then and again, or even just a one-off. Those interested will be given access to a dedicated sub-forum where the writing team will manage its schedule and organisation.

| There was a portuguese guy who seems to be an eligible one, If I'm not mistaken. I don't remember who exactly. I'll do a quick search to see if I can find him | |

| Here he is : Guilherme Miranda
Quoting Guilherme: "Yes. As I usually say, I am not a pure passionate for simulation, I enjoy it if it's realistic due to my main interest, that is archiving things, talking with people related to, and writing about motorsport history; so I generally put my money on magazines and books, because I don't play much. Let's say that, in competition speaking, I am an amateur gentleman driver."

| OK Alessio Tiago, Guilherme could be an idea but I think it would be better if insiders did the job. It would help a lot to know about the HSO drivers I reckon. How about you ? | |

| If you'd like some assistance with some English race reports I'd be happy to help. I'm a writer for a reasonably big sim racing league and have done plenty of race reports for them, so I have some experience. | |

| I could possible do some real life historical stuff, For example Real drivers from our series, so say Andy Rouse or say Ivan Capelli from F1 1991, Maybe even something on the actual series or even the cars from the series.
So for example : The Rise and fall of Jerry Mahoney, From leading the BTCC in his 2nd full season to being put in prison for his part in drug smuggling.
Just an idea.
Thanks Richard | |

| I would be very interested! I'm sure you've seen my wall-of-text race reports after every race! I do enjoy writing them also.
I have an idea too - writers can be tagged as writers in their profile (on the left of their posts, where 'rookie' etc is), and have the ability to ask users to post where their incidents are in a seperate thread. (as simple as people want as 'I was battling on lap ___. I crashed on lap ___. etc), to give the writers a full picture of the race, so they can look through the replay and write a detailed report.
I'm just throwing ideas out there... you know!

| OK Jon you now have access to the dedicated forum I'm not sure about the status for writers, we'll see over time I guess. I wouldn't be in favour of an additional public thread asking drivers about details about their race - some drivers enjoy writing their race reports and go into a lot of details, while others just don't ^^ . However that doesn't prevent you from inquiring via PM or even on the dedicated race thread | |
