| It looks like Michael will drive to the finish now so for me the race is over.
Maximum respect to everyone for driving these beasts. I am really impressed at the skill of the drivers for going so fast. I really like this mod, beautiful, atmospheric evocative, those are the sort of words I would use to describe it. I really enjoyed my race lapping slower than most people with low boost and maybe more wing, I managed to pass some people while they had to pit. Many thanks to everyone for being friendly in practice and some people who shared setups and especially to Tiago for doing a great job coaching Michael.
I hope Michael can cross the finish line ok with the fuel we calculated for him and I cant wait for the next open event. | |

| Disaster for Joest in the last minutes ... My game froze, I hit the wall at the last chicane, flipped the car ... game over. 3 minutes later, after 3 stints Tiago hands over the car to JP, and his car goes into space. 2 cars out. Hopefully Martin can bring the #9 car home for the win. | |

My pleasure. I could see we was having a bit of trouble with the car - Guillaume Siebert wrote:

| Grats Martin and the Joest team overall. I thought there was going to be a 1 2 3 picture session at the S/F line. Best start of any race I have ever had. No offs and went from 11th to 5th when I pitted on lap 38. Then it got ugly. Jason exited pit and had a slight off approaching the left sweeper. When he reentered track he was slow and Thomas Roth and Antoine caught him. Thomas dodged him but Antoine had no chance and likely invented three curse words and dropped 3 loads in his shorts. The hit drove Jason into the wall knocking off a tire and mauling the car. Jason limped it back and, voila, the magic crew fixed it. The rest of his run was uneventful. My 2nd stint ws less great and Jason had a good 2nd stint. My 3rd stint was a disaster when my wheel completely reset mid curve. Shifter, gas and brakes all worked. Buttons and wheel dead. I sat a few seconds hitting FFB reset. Nada. I unplugged the wheel and plugged it back it and it reset but I only had generic FFB and it was VERY heavy FFB. I came in several laps early and Jason took her to the end...what was left of her. The brakes were NOT happy at race end. Again grats to Martin and sorries to The other 2 Joest's that DNF'd due to tech issues. 13th and DFL on track , I'll take it! Edit: Our finishing position does not reflect how much I enjoyed this. Got that eFactor monitor to work for the 1st time. Awesome. Really great driving by you guys. I literally 10x'd the number of competitive passes I have made. Thank you HSO!!

| A big congratulations to the Joest guys for being able to be so competitive with only 4 drivers on three cars I was supposed to race but also had, with my dad and relatives deciding on that, a birthday celebration which wasn't supposed to start until after my first stint at around 5PM but instead they arrived 8 minutes or so before the race were supposed to start so JP had to quickly get into the car and ready to run while I stepped away to, rather unwillingly, spend many hours with my relatives and dad but enjoyed it but constantly had the enduro event in the back of my head. When I came back Martin had done about 180 laps and was on his last stint while the other cars had experienced troubles. Was simply hoping that they could pull it off and what a drive that was for the last laps, no misstakes as far as I could work out and it was a joy to see I know I wouldn't have been able to be so quick, I simply can't drive these prototypes well enough yet, so I am very impressed with all drivers taking part in this event. Everyone deserves a big applaud and cheering for their effort to reach the finish | |

| Gui,
Is there a way to access the statistics for the race like the ones you post for the non championship/fun races?
These are the ones that show lap times for every lap, incidents, etc etc.
No problem if they do not exist or something keeps it from happening.

| Great race, great fun, great....pain I did 3 stints in a row, so my ass was completely flat (sitting without moving is not healthy at all ) My heart stopped when I handed the car over to JP and saw it flying into the infinite, but there's nothing we could do. I'm just happy I took the car from Gui at 12th place and handed it over to JP in 5th with 4th in sight; Maybe it would be a 1st-2nd-4th if bad luck would not have a word in this race. It was a pleasure again guys, thank you | |

| Wow that was intense. Thanks to all the admins for this great event and all the other drivers and the help I received and to my partner Richard for his faith in me as his team mate. I am really happy with the 9th place finish. I agree with Richard that there were not very many relaxing laps. I was never running as fast as the quick guys but sure and steady put us ahead of many of them. I can’t wait till the next race. I would like to clarify one error in the results I am a Canadian I am not from France. Merci Guillaume | |

| Thanks for a great event . It was a hard fought race and the attrition was high . I did the first stints and was running as hard i could . Handed over the car in third position i think Steve did a good solid job but 1 tiny mistake a wheel on the grass sended him into the barrier . Massiv damage alot off time spendid on repairs . Kjell took over the gauntlet and made steady progrees in the field and thrue others mistakes and misfortune we ended up Well done m8 . Grats to and + all a truly great event . | |

| That was awesome we where not the quickest cars out there and we tried to stay out of trouble .. The #62 Sauber seemed to have little gremlins all of its own but lucky for us we decided quite late in the week we would make it a 2 car team ... (Thanks to Tiago for releasing the #61 car) ... All during training i felt we where having problems with the Saubers brakes but it seems come the race that we had found a really nice setup that we where all happy with and we where braking in the same places as everyone else .... In my 1st stint in the #62 car i made a safe but sure start Started 15th and manged to get as high as 12th early in the race i accidentally tapped Gui from behind as i locked up in the braking zone but i wait for him to regain his place .. Sorry Gui Then Antoine went wide on the long right hand bend and i followed him onto the grass in sympathy and just glanced the wall it still seemed to drive ok ... At the end of the 1st hour i pitted i thought i would hand over to Richard a freshly repaired car the pitstop took ages.... SO by the time Richard got away he was well down the order In my 2nd Stint i took over the #61 car Paul had done a great job and handed it to me in 8th place i did a double stint for lap after lap i chased Ihmre Bende who i think was a lap up but in 5th place Again i just put in steady laps never really took any chances and concentrated on the long race ahead i did manage to get into 6th at one point in the race with other people pitting but more importantly this time i managed to do a double stint without any drama's and handed the car over to Paul for the Last part of the race ... I Think i handed over in 7th place .. We had all sorts of problems with the #62 car and in the end Poor Richard had a disco in his last stint so we decided although Richard got the fasted lap out of the 3 in the team that Paul was the most consistant Driver he should bring the car home ..... He drove brilliantly and up until the 2nd to last lap managed to get the #61 car up into 4th place it was real drama and then the bad luck came ..a little off track excursion and a damaged wing so he had to pit ... Inside i was screaming please finish in 5th ... Martin crossed the line and as Paul started his lap a small error not exactly sure what happened but the car was finished .... lucky for us the car behind us was a lap down so we finished the race in 5th place I Think we all did amazingly well and i Now see the Birth of a New 3 man Endurance Team ... THX Richard and Paul could not have done it without you ... Im So Happy with 5th place Congrats to Martin , Gui , Jp and the Joest Team , Congrats all finishers Thx HSO For this Great Open Event and 1st class Organization | |

| Thanks to Carl and Richard for having me on the team. This race went well for the #61 car and I think most of the gremlins did live in the #62. Except for the mistakes on the last 2 laps I made which were unforced, I think we did real well. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief that after 3 stints in the car that it could all fall apart at the very end! I really wanted to give Carl 4th place for his birthday but just couldn't finish the job. After knocking the rear wing off and the repairs it took to get everything fixed I was surprised to learn that the car went sideways when applying the brakes Starting the last lap I just barely touched them going into T1 and the car took off into the inside guardrail and was junk! Fortunately we had a few laps on 6th so we ended up 5th. We'll get 'em next time. Thanks again to Carl and Richard for having me and I look forward to teaming with them again! Congrats to the podium and to all for another great race at HSO!!!! | |

| Thanks again all those at HSO, 1st for setting up this fantastic event, And 2nd for giving us the great mod to do it in! As Paul and Carl said, The #61 ran perfectly all night, But the #62 had all the bad luck. I guess i was just having a bad night at the office, But after when talking to Paul, i realised i never used the setup that carl gave us, Dont know if this would affect the car? But anyway with the way i was driving, I made the team manager's decision to sacrifice my go in the #61 and give it back to Paul, Who had been driving brilliantly all day, Carl did a great job in the #61 getting it to 12th, I did manage to get back up to 11th after the scheduled stop, But then the problems started . Couldn't have been a more fun event! And i cant wait for the next one!! So proud of the 2 guys in the #61 getting 5th, You truly deserve it! | |

| Here is a summary of the Joest's stories #7: Second on the grid, I took the start with this one. Due to Teemus little mistake at the first turn, I took the lead in front of Ghovand. It was a close battle between us, but he made some mistakes I think so the gap grew up to 7-8 seconds, which was more comfortable for me. At the end of the first stint, I was surprised to see that, except for Alex's Porsche, I was the last to do my pitstop (at least at the front of the race). After Ghovand's retirement, I found Kevin in the second place, around 15 seconds behind me. It was a "long distance" battle with him during all this stint. It was planned that I had to do only the two first stints in the #7, but since Jonatan couldn't make it on the #9, we were only four drivers for 3 cars. So I did a third stint in the #7. Not much to say about this last stint since I didn't have any direct battle on track, and all went well with backmarkers. When I left the wheel to JP, I think the gap was around 30-35 seconds between us and Jan. Then JP did a great job, and because of some mistakes behind us, and of course his pace, he managed to take a one lap lead. After one stint, he left the wheel to Gui 40 laps before the end of the race. He obviously kept the lead, one lap in front of the sister car #9. So we were pretty confident, but unfortunately, he lost his front wing after a contact with another Porsche. After the repair, the #9 was on the lead, 10 seconds in front of the #7. So for us it didn't really change anything, as we were always 1 and 2, but Guis PC had a problem and the #7 had to retire. #8: Gui took the start in the 8th position, managed to get on the top 4 after nearly 15 laps, but he did an early mistake which put the car in the back of the field, 2 laps down. After an other contact, this time with a Porsche, he had to repair again. After one and a half stint, he gave the wheel to Tiago, 12th I think. Tiago did a very good job, battling hard to catch the top 5 after his 3 stints in a row. With 25 laps to go, he left the wheel to JP, but they suffered of a driver swap bug, and the race was over. It's a pity for Tiago who did a really great job in this car. Despite some troubles at the beginning, this car was back on the battle for the 4th position. #9: 22th on the grid, JP replaced Jonatan at the wheel 10 minutes before the start. As usual, he did a great job, avoiding any incident. After the two first stint, he was back on the top 5. Gui then took the car for two stints also, and after a clean run, and due to some mistakes of our competitors, brought the car in the second position, one lap behind the #7. With 44 laps before the end of the race, I took the wheel from Gui, who 5 laps later took the wheel of the #7 (4 drivers for 3 cars is not an easy thing). So I was 2, cruising quietly in boost 1 to finish the race in one piece. Kevin was around 1mn behind. But after #7 retirement, I found myself on the lead. Kevin and I had the same pace, so I just had to avoid any incident for the 30 last laps. And it was maybe the scariest stint I ever did, nothing happenned and it was a relief when I crossed the line with the win. So, thank you to my teamates of course, it was a great race A big thank you to Tiago for his great setup Congrats to all finishers, thanks to all participants and to all backmarckers, very clean | |
